Verizon iPhone 5 Preorder Status Thread

I didn't order till 9/22. Ship date was schedule for 10/19 and my credit card has the pending charge.
I assume i'll have it sometime next week, which is a big surprise from not expecting it till the end of October!

Maybe the order location makes a difference too. And it looks like mine is very attached to Memphis. It hasn't moved since early this morning. Wonder if they wou,d give it to me if I showed up there?

Not fair :( I'm still waiting for any sort f upfae an I bought mine 6 days before you.

New customer. Ordered 9/20, white 32GB. Pending charge posted yesterday, status changed to the blank courier/ship date this morning... not sure exactly what that means yet, but hopefully next week?

That one is for my wife, I have another one that was ordered through my company/business account. It was ordered 9/23, no way to check status on that one though. Black 64GB. All I have is an e-mail saying it was ordered.

Ha I'm thinking that they don't like me lol if I was an AT&T exec I'd acquire some for testing purposes

They say the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again while expecting different results.

Based on the frequency that I refresh my Verizon order status page, I am now clinically insane.



Ordered my black 16GB and my wife's white 16GB over the phone on 9/15 at 9pm. Got a shipped/delivered date of 10/5 immediately thereafter, but nothing has happened since.

Yes.

"We received your order and it is in process."

Has said that since day 1.....along with "Expected Ship Date: 10/05/2012"
 
I must say these are only phones we are waiting for. Most of us already have a phone. If this is how we handle waiting for a phone, what would happen if we waited for a heart?

So i preordered my iphone 32 gig on 9/14 at 3:15am. Got my confirmation email at 3:22.... Called them everyday to check status as i saw others were getting their tracking info. Was tol repeatedly by verizon reps that my order was fine...not to worry...right! 9/21 came and went..nothing. Called them later that night. They figured out they somehow messed up order...so they could replace order and I would receive on 10/20...obviously this pissed me off to no end. They sensed my frustration and transferred me to a loyalty manager who went above and beyond for me. He offered to call the warehouse and have them overnight one for me, or he would personally call local verizon stores in my area tomorrow to hold one for me. I received a call from him on Saturday morning that he had a phone for me. He even bumped me up to the 64 gig version for the same price of the 32. After picking up my new phone that morning, he even text messaged after activating it to make sure I was satisfied...i am beyond impressed with verizon's handling of this situation. Hope u all have luck as well. I typed u all this story on my iphone 5 64 gig!!
 
porting number

I received a call from a very nice lady at Verizon to make final arrangements for porting my number from AT&T...this while my 32GB black is poised for delivery (from PA to TN) by 3PM.

Just got my 9/15 preorder scheduled for 10/5 delivery at 11 am today. 64gb black. There is hope. It's been real fools.
 
I called verizon and CS said it was shipping today... Still no update! Allthough CS could have just been BSing me. Seriously pissed at VZ.
