Verizon iPhone 5 Preorder Status Thread

I preordered my Iphone 5 - Black - 16gig at a Verizon store on Sept 20th around 8pm EST.

My status was previously: "We received your order and it is in process"

Today it switched to: "Your order has been sent for processing"

There is also a pending transaction on the credit card as of October 5th.

congrats you should be getting it soon maybe the 10th or earlier. :D

update: just refreshed and it now says "Order Status: Your order has been sent for processing." :)

another update: my order has shipped! yipppeeee. have the tracking number, but no info available yet when i track it

Well, I ordered a white 16Gb on the 14th and after 3 push backs, now they said I will receive it by the 16th.
 
Yayyyy. Got charged today around 3:30 pm. Then received email about 20 mins after. Says it'll be here Wednesday. But I called fedex and the guy said it'll be here tmrw. Who do I believe? I don't wanna get my hopes up for tmrw lol

I ordered 9/20 as well. About 6am. And mine is already shipped today. I received all my info literally within 25 mins of my card being charged. A couple of hours ago.
 
A friend ordered theirs (16 gig black) on the 19th, sent to the store and it came in on Oct 5th.

(shakes head), how can 3 days make such a big difference.
 
Update:

I got an email with tracking info yesterday at 4:33pm EST. Checked this morning and it's shipped and shows delivery for 10/10.
 
Ordered a 32g black at store yesterday given a ship date of Oct 26. Overheard a guy wanting a 16g black who was given a Nov 2 ship date.

same exact thing happened to me, I don't know whats going on...supposed to come by 7pm today it still says online...what? did fedex forget to update its tracking?

Ordered the 3 october, in verizon store, full price, white 32 gb... still arriving the 26 ... in process....
the wait is HORRIBLE !!!

I ordered on Sep 25 over the phone and I have a ship date of the 19th. No movement, money still in account, and message is "we received your preorder" I mean COM'ON MAAN!! I am never preordering again, this is ridiculous.

Ordered Sunday 10/7. Estimated ship by date is 11/2. Really hoping that it ships sooner as I'm leaving for a two week European trip on 11/2 and really bought the phone to take with me.
 
OK... Made this just to vent my situation lol.
Ordered my 16 gb Iphone5 on sept 22 around 3 pm. Still no movement from ".... sent for processing" :mad:
From what I have noticed. Orders from the 20's are now starting to deliver so this makes me hopeful that my status will change in the near future. :)
 
Ordered a 16GB black iPhone from Verizon on the 22nd. Today my card was charged and the box for a tracking number appears now when I try to check the status on the VZW website, but there's no number there yet.

Has anyone seen something like this?

it just means it's about to ship/in the very early stages of shipping I believe. You should see a tracking # tomorrow.
