Verizon iPhone 5 Preorder Status Thread

My phone shipped from China. I ordered at apple.com. I have verizon. Ordered on Sept 19th and my delivery date is Oct18th. It shipped via UPS though 
I hate UPS. You can't redirect mid shipment.

Just got the black 64GB yesterday at the local Verizon store and the first one had a good size nick on the side edge.
Made them give me another one and the edges are fine but this one has a flaw on the back where the glass meets the metal.
You have to be looking hard to see this damage but it is there.

Im almost in the exact same boat, Black 32GB, ordered on the 10th. My status also changed Friday to "Your order has been sent for processing" but I also have a pending charge on my credit card from Verizon. Hopefully tracking is coming soon...
Just checked and I have a pending charge as well now. Hopefully the wait isn't much longer.
just canceled my 16GB order. i called my local verizon store and they have a few 32GB available. i guess ill get it. cant wait any longer.
I tried doing this today too. Unfortunately my order is far enough along now that it can't be canceled, would of had one today otherwise.
The fact that it still allowed me to cancel, made me think that it's far from being shipped. So I'm just getting 32gb
A few questions for other Verizon folks out there:
1. Are they shipping the phones using an overnight option? I've seen a few reports of this happening and want to know if it's a common occurrence.
2. Using powers of deduction, can anyone make a sound estimate as to where facility 1456901 is located? Seems to me that it represents the Memphis location.

I did the pre orders the first night and got it the day it came out. I have nothing wrong with my iPhone 5. My mom got her's a few week later and it had a tiny dent on the side but she put it in a case and didn't really care.
I have a 64gb Black
She has a 16gb white
To answer #1, mine says 2 day shipping. Ordered Monday 10/8. Shipped Friday from Memphis and arrived at CLT sort facility on Saturday. My son who works for FedEx SmartPost says he doesn't think the sorters work weekends so it will sort Monday and be out for delivery on package car Tuesday. Not sure about question 2 but it looks like everything in the SE is originating in Memphis
They go by demand. Those who ordered a week ago got either a 32GB or 64GB.
16GB people are still waiting for theirs

If I was your mom I would complain. She worked hard for her money, she should at least get her iPhone in excellent condition out of the box!
When we ordered Monday, 32 and 64's were given an Oct 26 ship date and 16's got a Nov. 2 ship date.
My fiancee has Verizon. He ordered a 16 gb black iPhone 5 on 10/3. Estimated shipping date is 10/26. From what I am seeing, it seems that 32 and 64 gb phone orders are receiving tracking information within a week, and the 16 gb orders are getting tracking information within 2 weeks from the order date.
Does this seem right? Like I said, it's from what I've seen.

Ordered 9/22 with a 10/19 ship by date. 16 and 32 GB White. Status changed on 10/12 and tracking number came on 10/14. Delivery date is 10/17.
Looked everywhere at Apple stores and Verizon stores for an iPhone 5 yesterday and they had none except for a couple 32GB Blacks and we were going to buy it but the upgrade wasn't available until today and they wouldnt give it to us, even a day early... and then they sold them to the people in the store after us... I was so mad!!! So I just ordered a 16GB Black this morning once the upgrade was available and It says estimated 11/2... I don't want to wait that long

That's not right from what I have been told if you are in store they can do your upgrade up to 7 days early.
