I ordered 2 64's on 10/9; one black, one white with a estimated delivery date of 10/26. I'm noticing everyone around this time frame (10/3 - 10/10) is getting there shipping confirmations or better yet their orders! The suspense is killing me. lol I originally had an order on 09/21 for one white 16gb and one black 64 gb with an estimated delivery date of 10/19. I gave it up around 10/2, because for some genius idea I thought I would get it faster ordering directly from Apple. Well I scratched that idea and saw that the Verizon orders for 64's were getting fulfilled pretty darn fast; so, I cancelled those and came back to my Verizon order. lol This time I made my gf's a 64gb also, because she wanted that size from the beginning she just didn't want to tell me. So now I'm hoping Verizon will show me some mercy and fulfill my order soon. I'm thinking it should be fairly quick since I'm doing 64's now, but who knows... Still getting "We received your order and it is in process."

No offense taken, dawsontribe8, but the fact of the matter is you did not "preorder" anything despite Verizon still calling it that. By definition, a preorder is when you order something before it is released, which you did not do.No offense Johnny5 but I did pre-order on 9/25 and Verizon called this a pre-order, not me see below: This is the info from the email, but I appreciate the vote of confidence.

Oh, so sorry I took your complaints that had multiple "mad" emoticons inserted into them as you being angry instead of disappointed. I don't know how I could have made such a mistake.Okay Johnny5 no one on here has any intention of offending you just for voicing an opinion of their disappointments (sorry if I did geez) but if you don't like hearing complaints, maybe you should find another thread.
And, there is a fine line between being angry and being disappointed. Most people on here are disappointed, not angry. If we were angry don't you think we'd cancel the order instead of waiting??
I already stated that it is a bummer if Verizon did not let you at least order a new phone and then not activate it until you are eligible for upgrade, but let's be honest here. You had to have known that there was limited availability in the initial supply of iPhones and since Verizon's rules say that you could not pre-order before 9/21 because of upgrade eligibility that you were going to have to wait some time before you got your phone.
I guess the bottom line is, some people just like to whine and complain instead of going on with their lives. You are in the whiner/complainer category. Thanks for the decent conversation. Have a great day!
The difference you're witnessing in ship dates has to do with the particular iPhone being ordered. The 16 GB models are taking forever, whereas the 32 GB and 64 GB models are shipping almost immediately.

I did the same, ordered three on 9/24 and have an estimated ship date of 10/19. I ordered through my Verizon business account rep and he assured me I would have them by the 19th.
Something tells me we won't be getting them by Friday.

My replacement iPhone 5 16gb was ordered by verizon rep on 9/24 she too said it will ship before the 10/19 hope the 16gb's are not that back ordered.
You still might. I ordered 9/22 and my CC was charged on 10/12 and according to FedEx tracking it should be delivered on 10/17. If your card is charged today or tomorrow I would expect a tracking number the following day and delivery by 10/18 or 10/19.
I ordered 4 also on the 26th with a 10/19 ship date nothing as of 11:00 am today, I will keep everybody informed if anything changes

I ordered from both Apple and Verizon the only reason I had to buy one from verizon is to received a $100 discount I saved for over three years. There is no way to skip the $30 upgrade fee not even for 10 year customers like myself.

Seriously, how did you find out so quickly that your card was just charged? I have AMEX and they are three days behind in transactions.
Finally just now received shipment confirmation. Mines also in Memphis and will be here Wednesday the 17th by 7 pm. Two more days.
