Verizon iPhone 5 Preorder Status Thread

Just got my tracking info and I am set up with an estimated delivery date of Friday 10/19. I spoke with the rep on the phone inquiring about tracking info prior to receiving my track# and she said it should be here tomorrow.

Your is processing as we speak (COOL). My card was charged yesterday around this time, and I just got my tracking # within the last 20 minutes. Congrats!!

Okay so I just checked the tracking info and it is shipping from Memphis, TN and says its been picked up. With an "estimated" delivery date on 10/19 it should be here tomorrow with me literally being next door (Georgia) to Memphis, TN. Right?

My tracking number from the order status was something like 1 xxxxxxxx. i deleted the 1 and the "space" and just used the following numbers and it works fine. Might want to try that.
Hope so, looking to see how well the iPad does on the road using LTE/3G when I do my next road trip.

Really? That would be awesome. I ordered a black 32 from Verizon online yesterday (10/16) with estimated ship date of 10/26. Would love to be pleasantly surprised....

Received my white 32gb today. Ordered on 10/10/12. Took exactly one week to receive from the day the order was placed on Verizon.com
EDIT: BTW, I also had a Oct-26 ship date estimate at the time of order and up until it shipped out.

Nothing, I checked it over pretty good and it appears to be in prefect condition. Couldn't find a single scuff or scratch.
Ordered a 32GB I think black on 10/13. Keep checking my order on Verizon website and still says processing. But I checked Amex and it now has a pending charge of the amount instead of the $1 pending change.
Is this a good sign? Am I going to get a tracking number soon?!

It means yours should be getting ready to ship in the next day or so. Be looking out for your tracking number and status change. Verizon won't take the money unless your item is at least ready to ship. This is what at least 3 different customer service reps said to me.
I ordered a black 16gb on 9/27 and haven't seen any activity yet. My expected date is 10/26
Unfortunately, those who have previously mentioned the high demand of the 16gb seen to be pretty accurate. The 32gb and 64gb have been the models that are shipping faster than expected. Those of us who ordered the 16gb are getting either on the ship date or a day earlier. I agree and echo it is because of the high demand of the 16gb black and white models.
For example, I ordered mine Sept 25 with a ship date of Oct 19. My Card was charged early Tue Oct 16 and my track # appeared late morning of Oct 17. My delivery date is is still Oct 19 and I just checked the tracking info, still showing my package in Memphis, TN as of 7:41 est. Not sure if I'm getting it today or tomorrow. Either Fed Ex hasn't updated the tracking yet, or the package has not moved. The package arrived to the facility yesterday pretty early around 7pm est. However, it does say 2 day shipped but the delivery date is an estimated date.
What's strange is I go to the Verizon web site and check the tracking there, it said the item shipped on Oct 16. But, my common sense tell me to go by Fed Ex, the people who are actually delivery the thing!
Still twiddling thumbs here lol.
Same here they charged my cc yesterday morning and by 800 pm got my tracking #, last night tracking says its left Philly but no other data says delivery 10/19 and I ordered on the 26th of sept so I guess I will get it right on the 19th as they said...Im happy if all works out that way and the phones don't have any damages!
I heard that Jgutz. Hopefully, no defects from here on out for anyone. I was reading that article where Foxcomm gave their reasons why some units were showing up with defects. They said they are still learning how to produce the iPhone 5 so, obviously it was a learn as you go which is kind of screwed up.
But, I sure you would agree that we are just glad this is over with. Finally!
