Received my white 32gb today. Ordered on 10/10/12. Took exactly one week to receive from the day the order was placed on Verizon.com

EDIT: BTW, I also had a Oct-26 ship date estimate at the time of order and up until it shipped out.

So the phones aren't subsidized by the carrier? Doesn't he have to set up an account?

Impossible. If he bought it for $200 he'll have to pay an EFT to whatever carrier he got it from. Or he is using identity theft to get these phones, which will land him jail.

Verizon in store and website both go through their iconic device portal, so they all go in order of each other.

I'm just going to stop reading these posts. So frustrating seeing people who ordered the exact same day and exact same phone as me and getting it, when mine still says "received order." I really wish I knew how Verizon is deciding who gets theirs. Because it doesn't look like it's based off when you ordered it.

Awesome. So I ordered two days ago (10/16) with expected ship date of 10/26. Today my credit card has been charged the full amount (paying full retail) and the order status has been changed to show a tracking number although that number is not yet displayed. Guess this means I should be getting it early next week? (Black 32)
