Verizon iPhone 5 Preorder Status Thread

It's regional. Instead of sending 100 separate shipments across the country, they're sending out a bulk shipment of 100 phones to different regions (or whatever amount they're going with). They're going by expected ship date, though. I saw someone on the Verizon forums who ordered a 16gb black on 10/2 with a ship date of 10/19 get his phone this week.
Hopefully your region gets theirs soon, though. I can only imagine how frustrating that is. I ordered 10/3 with a 10/26 ship date. Still got another week, lol.

Yeah my credit card was charged yesterday and my tracking info was sent today. Says delivery estimate of 10/22 according to FedEx.

I live in Colorado. Who knows. Oh well. I've waited this long,
 
finally saw the charge on my credit card! ordered 10/15 for a white 32gb!

hoping it ships tomorrow, maybe i'll get it on monday :D
 
i walked in and bought an att white iphone 32gb at apple yesterday but they also told me they had 16gb and 32gb black Verizon models. kind of rare to be able to buy without a reservation but worth a shot if you have no preorder luck.
 
I ordered a 32gb black on 10/10 and received it on 10/17. Week 39, no damage.

My first iPhone; I converted from Android and I am loving it so far.

I placed an order on Monday (10/15) and called customer service today to get an update. It said my phone has been shipped and when I try to get a tracking number it said my phone has been "received and activated". What does this mean?

I ordered a black 32gb if that matters.

EDIT: Nevermind. Just received a my tracking number.

Mine just arrived about 30 minutes ago. No dings no smudges or any other defects. Ordered 9/25 ship date 10/19 and received it 10/19. No early arrival for me but I'm glad its finally over.

You my friend are next and I want to celebrate with you when yours arrives, lol So I will still check in on you guys. :D

I don't see how people are able to keep ordering phones and selling them unless they are using other peoples upgrades or giving g kickbacks lol. I mean doesn't the contract have to be renewed in order for a person to get a phone, sell it and make a profit? There are tons of phones on eBay selling for $1000 on average. How? And its the same seller too.:confused:

Congrats! Maybe they truly have been setting the quality standards higher so we wont have to worry about out of the box damage. I'm still waiting for my 16GB which still has a date of 11/2, no credit charge or tracking number yet, just "we recieved your order and it is in process" I can't wait though!
 
I ordered a 16 gb on 10/1 at the verizon store, and still haven't heard anything. And when I go on the website to check the status of my order it always says "experiencing technical difficulties, please try again later"
 
Still waiting! If I had preordered it one day earlier it would've been shipped by today. But oh no, I was stupid so I waited an extra day. Preordered on 9/28 and still need to wait 1 more week! Isn't that awesome?

What kind of shipping do they use? Fedex overnight or 2-day? First time having a phone shipped.
