Verizon iPhone 5 Preorder Status Thread

I'm getting irritated because it seems as if all white iphones are shipping out first! I just want my phone. This wait is ridiculous, are there any deliveries on Saturdays?
 
Alright so after getting charged yesterday, my iphone 16gb white just shipped, along with my gf's 16gb white iphone. Delivery expected 11/2 by 7pm.

via Fed-ex from Memphis, TN.

Ordered 10/12, charged 10/30. (I live in L.A)

Does this mean my order will be at my doorstep exactly at 7? Because that will be very convenient for me since I get home a little after 6:30pm..
 
i ordered a black 16g on 10/12. i have had no bank activity or any change on my verizon order page. i went in to the store that i ordered it from this afternoon and they could give me no explanation as to why some people are getting their phones early and some or not. they told me you still have two days so come back after that. what really bothers me is that people that ordered days after and the same phone as me with a ship date later than 11/2 or getting their phones before 11/2. i don't blame them and i am happy they got their phones I JUST WANT MINE.

Black 16gb ordered 10/8 left Memphis, Tn about a half hour ago, is scheduled to deliver tomorrow before 7pm. I am in Illinois, for reference. Seems crazy to go from TN to IL in one day, but hey..who knows.

No. It will not be at your doorstep exactly at 7. It might delivered around 2pm and you need to sign. If no one answered the door and did not sign, you might have to wait until the next business day.

hmm alright then thanks. Is there a way I can probably do like a pickup instead? That also wont effect my shipment from getting here on time?

i know you can go to the fedx page and somewhere on there is a page you can print and sign to leave on your door so they will leave the package for you. if you go back in this thread i believe there is a link to it somewhere.

I received an e-mail from Verizon on the 29th with my tracking info. Fedex's website says there will probably be delays on the east coast due to Sandy. Hope this helps and good luck to everyone!

Arrived at Chicago facility at 5:50, definitely air mail.
 
Well after Verizon charged my card on Sunday, and then changed my date from 10/26 to 11/16. Today at about 6, got a call from Fed-Ex, and the phone was at their location. Typing with it right now, and it was completely worth the wait!! Hope everyone gets theirs soon!!!!
 
Still nothing...? Tomorrow is 11/2 so I guess it will ship by then at the latest... Unless its delayed
 
16g black ordered 10/12 with 11/2 ship date/card was charged yesterday afternoon and ship date changed to 11/16. I called Verizon and they told me i would have it by the end of day Friday. I still have no tracking number so I guess I will just have to see.
 
64GB white phone pre-ordered Oct. 25. Still says "we received your order and it is in process". Ship by date is Nov. 16. I keep coming here hoping to hear that all of a sudden everyone's phone just ships.

I do keep trying to get one reserved through the Apple reservation system but it doesn't seem like any store within 4 hours of me ever has one available. I got my 4 the day it released, also my iPad 3 within the first few days after release and my early-2011 MacBook Pro in the first week. This is crazy!

Mine has shipped and was supposed to be in a couple days ago, until it was delayed by a couple days, so I wouldn't be surprised.


Anyone who has been delayed by Sandy:

Has your fedex page even... updated? Like I got two shipment exception notices because of inclement weather, but all of yesterday and today I haven't seen anything about a shipment notice or any progress for my phone. I'm hoping that FedEx is just slow to update their tracking page but that the phone is actually in transit right now.
 
ordered two iPhone 5's (16 gb and 32gb black) on october 16 and supposed to ship by 11/2. I want my iPhone this weekend :(

I ordered 10/13 and my credit card was charged yesterday I was wondering how long it takes to receive a tracking number?
