Verizon iPhone 5 Preorder Status Thread

For those that pre-ordered and payed full price for their iPhone 5 under the line that has the "Unlimited Data". will you get to only use that unlimited under 3G and not LTE(since it's 4G). I've read that once you upgrade to a 4G Device, you're gonna have to sign for a tiered data plan that supports 4G. is this true? i'm getting kind of worried after reading from another forum about "Unlimited Data" plans on Verizon.
Still need to figure out how i'm going to activate the phone when it gets here because there's alot that could go wrong when activating it especially losing the unlimited data...

Did anybody have more than 4 phones? I had 3 16GB blacks, a 16GB white, and a 32GB black. I ordered at 2:58am EST the 14th, and got charged last night at 7PM like everyone else. Unlike the rest of the 7PM orders tho, I still haven't received my tracking number. Could that be because I have 5 phones on the order?
Good question but I hve a old nationwide 700 fam plan and one line grandfather data unlmt. Two Verizon reps said I can use phone on that line but I'm curious also if that means on 3G or unlimited 4g

So pissed, Verizon left my order hanging since 3am on Friday and never pushed it forward to process. I had to call a supervisor yesterday and she had to put in a new order for me, and now my estimated ship day is 10/5
Is it worth it to call Verizon to see if there is anything they can do? I basically just wasted my time getting up early last Friday to order, and now I won't even get my phone for another 3+ weeks.

Well at least I'm not the only one. I called Chase though and Verizon hasn't even attempted to charge my card.I pre-ordered a 64 GB black iPhone 5 about four hours after they went on sale. I received the pre-order confirmation with a delivery date of 9/21. At this time, my status page still shows that my order is in process and lists a ship date of 9/21. My card has not yet been charged.
I'm in the same boat as a lot of other people, and I know it can be frustrating to know that so many people are getting their confirmation numbers, but it really doesn't make a difference. If your confirmation shows a delivery date of 9/21, then you should be fine.
Verizon is getting probably two million phones ready to be shipped within just a few days, and it takes time. As it gets done and the database gets updated, emails go out. Since so many of the phones are going out overnight, though, it really doesn't matter if they got shipped yesterday or if some of us have to wait until tomorrow. They will arrive when they are supposed to, for the most part.

You will have unlimited 3G and 4G on your grandfathered plan. I currently have a GS3 on one of my grandfathered lines and it is unlimited for both.
You can definitely move to 4g without losing unlimited data. I wouldn't stress too much over it, I have moved to and from 3g and 4g a few times since the shared tiers went into effect

I don't remember the last FED-EX shipped item that i got but usually they come early in the morning. only USPS so far has been a let down for me because it's either they come a day late and hold my package on their station after arriving on the island then shipping it the next day. oh and usps also mailed it to my nextdoor neighbor too(damn USPS).

Mine shipped today as well. It shows the Fedex tracking (doesn't work yet) with a ship date of Sept 20Th. and delivery date of Sept 21st. Ordered the 16 black from Verizon.....

Today, CC still has not been charged. Called verizon to verify billing information, called bank to inform of upcoming purchase in case of fraud protection. still no confirmation e-mail, I just checked my status on the pre-order website in this topic w/ the confirmation # texted to my current phone.
Order Status: we have received your order and it is in process

I checked my order status at verizon and the ship date changed to 10/5.
When I woke up today, I checked the order status and it had a blank ship date.
On the way to work, I got an email from Verizon saying that the order "has been completed and is being shipped to you." There was no ETA in the order. The online status is still blank.
I called Internet sales and they said that the order has been completed and I should get it on the 21st.
As far as I can tell, my AMEX still has not been charged. I will call them next.

I called and confirmed with Verizon before I pre-ordered. They said since I paid full retail, I am technically 'providing' the equipment. The rep said I will keep my unlimited data plan 3G/LTE.
It is unlim on 4g, I have a droid currently with this plan, and its not like you can block 4g connection or anything. hope that helps!
Yeh, Hawaii version of next day air takes 2 days

Yes. I ordered a 16GB Black at about 7:50am EST. I got my tracking number this morning at 3:07am
I'm beginning to think the Black 64GB are the last to be processed because there are a few others in this thread who haven't been charged or received their tracking yet.
You guys really need to chill out. If your confirmation shows 9/21, and you have not received any notification from Verizon that there is an issue with your order, chances are you will get it on the 21st. In past Verizon pre-orders I have been invloved in, they did not even start sending tracking #'s out until 2 days before the release date. I am sure they are slammed with hundreds of thousands of orders and it takes time to process all of these, thus they started the process a couple of days earlier. I bet they will be processing orders through Thursday with some going out overnight for delivery Friday. I really would not stress out about it.
