Now this is interesting. Ordered the 64gb iphone 5. Which is probably WHY I'm catching so much hell from Verizon.

Preordered at 8am on Friday, got confirmation and email regarding this. Email says: "Delivered by 9/21/12".. No issue. I can wait the couple days.


Today, verizon sends a text: "iphone 5 order scheduled to deliver by October 5th.

Now..I wouldn't mind them pushing it back if I wasnt told the same thing 19 times... then get a text message that switches up completely.

--1. I was told any orders after 12 noon would be pushed to September 28th, & October 5th.. No problem.. if they stated No delivery date in the email. All I can go off is your word..

--2. Customer service rep says "due to high demand order dates can be pushed back or changed, regardless to how early you ordered [guess we're saying screw preordering].

--3. Asked to speak to a manager in regards to getting a REAL answer instead of "protocol to tell customers purchasing an iphone". She couldnt. -_-. :rolleyes:

--4. She said "sir, my uncles date got pushed back too, he ordered Saturday".. Maam.. I dont know what planet your from, but we're discussing two different days.

I think my issue is.. why tell me to expect my phone by October 5th, have NO shipment information, my card hasnt been charged, and it seems, even though it's been noted on my account PLENTY of times, including order details.. 9/21.. they are saying October 5th?
 
So I finally got in contact with the Internet Orders dept. this morning. For some reason my card was declined yesterday, but it went through now. Now my shipping date says "Not Available at This Time" so hopefully I still get it by Friday. *FINGERS CROSSED*

Also, does anyone know where N211401 is?

I'm guessing northern Indiana area since I've now heard that it's serving orders in Chicagoland, Michigan and Wisconsin.
 
Finally received my shipping notification from Verizon at 9 a.m. Mountain. (I am in New Mexico.)

Ordered at 1:10 a.m. 9/14, received confirmation at 1:30 a.m.

Order # was 49XXX

$0.00 authorization Friday - disappeared from account over the weekend.

Full authorization Monday afternoon - disappeared that evening but reappeared late that night.

Now showing "Picked Up" in Memphis, TN at FedEx, Standard Overnight - Indirect, Signature Required, "Future delivery requested."

ETA Friday 21st by 3:00 p.m.
 
Just tell them to make a note on your account stating that you're expecting a charge from Verizon and give them a rounded up total (ie: mine is around $450 so I just said $500).

Last question lol: Chase isn't going to think "I'm" doing anything fraudulent and ends up flagging my account if I ask all those questions? I'm a real paranoid dude but honestly think everything is ok. I'm still going to call.
 
Freaked the F&*$ Out

Everyone's stories about card companies declining or authorizing then pulling charges over possible fraud has me freaked. So I called my bank and told them the pending charge is good-to-go.

Also, my ace order number is 39xxx and it seems people that are higher (later?) are already shipping? WTF?
 
Debit card was charged yesterday and received tracking #. Status on the VZW pre-order page says expected ship date 9/20!!! Maybe an early arrival!!!

I've recevied email confirmation on the morning I ordered, showing 9/21. Ordered at 3:26am.

No authorizations on my Chase Debit card.

No movement.

"We received your order and it is in process"

No action on mine yet either, order in around 4 am.

It seems like this location code is almost at a snails pace when it comes to processing. I've read 2 other people who have had theirs process, but the majority from this location code haven't.

Evidently, we have a distriubution hub fairly close by, but not sure where.

Just a guess.

They shouldn't as long as you answered all your security questions, etc;. I've never thought to call them in advance, mainly because I've never had an issue with Chase until now. I had to approve my purchase through Chase, then call Verizon back to reprocess the order.
 
I know that some location codes with D772001 have gone through the credit card chage, tracking info, etc.

Is there anyone else in the same boat with that locations.

FYI, I'm in Virginia.

Oh NO! That blows...I'd call the internet number that's been going around and explain to them see if they can ship it out earlier...??!?!? worth a try?

Well, they can't make an iphone specifically for me so I'm stuck. Also which is great, I'm now locked out of my account for 3-4 weeks due to the iPhone pre-order, so I'm unable to change my minutes for this month as I'm getting close to using them all up.

So I can either cancel the pre order again, change the minutes, and re-order or just suck it up
 
For you fellow Texans:

Ordered 2 Black iPhone 16GB at 1:55AM CST (9/14). Finally received shipping confirmation delivery to Houston, TX. Scheduled to receive Friday 21st by 3:00PM.

I'm a Texan! But I'm in the Tyler area, too bad I ordered at about 11 am. My order number is 199***. Right now, my est deliv date is 9/26. Sad face.
 
I'm a Chase credit card survivor (they declined the original charge), and I just received my tracking number with a 9/21 delivery date. That's some good news for the rest of you that went through the same thing I did. :)

Maybe. Some sort of support group might come in handy in the near future :) .

I think I would feel better if my card was charged, even a pre-auth.
I really don't care as long as I get it by Oct 1. I leave town for a couple of weeks that day and I'm porting my number over - really don't want to have to deal with that potential debacle.
 
I'm in Montgomery. I ordered at 2 am on Friday. My order number is 7 digits as well.

Wow, well maybe the length of the ACE order number has no bearing on timing of shipment process then. From reading some of the other posts it sounds like they are processing in geographic regions. I think I have just self-diagnosed myself with OCD due to the iPhone. I hope that fact that my charge is still 1$ pending doesn't mean it is flagged. I would think if it was flagged it wouldn't show up at all.
 
Okay so I ordered my iPhone 5 around 4 PM on Friday. All I got was an email saying its processing. THe ship date is on September 28th, my question is, am I supposed to wait for another email or what? :confused:

No, as long as your the account holder why would they?

No, it's pretty routine since large purchases get flagged all the time. I would just call and say that you've made a large purchase from Verizon and want to make sure it is not flagged. Give the amount of the purchase from your confirmation so they know what to look out for. Make sure to ask, if they don't tell you first, if anything has already been flagged.

I would have to agree - I don't think the number really matters too much. It's just an order number, not the "you're number in line for an iPhone is 23455" or something...
