Verizon iPhone 5 Preorder Status Thread

Koo, thanks. Calling them now. If they say nothing happened, is everything good? And should I say authorize even if says fraud?
I'm from Joplin area but went to UMKC for 5 years, moved back 2 years ago when I graduated.
bought full price b/c i wanted to keep unlimited. plus if i switched to teired, it'd cost me more over 2 yrs than paying full price for the 32gb
Delivery date is 9/21, no credit card charge yet, no email with tracking number yet. I'm not concerned though.

I'm in Virginia Beach, ordered at 7:05 am, location code D772001, Ace Order #: 68***. Have not seen any card charge, tracking info. yet.

I'm one of those who had my cc declined because they thought it was fraud and called and fixed that last night. The verizon rep on the phone said as long as I didn't start a new order that I would keep my position and have my phone the 21st (after it was declined it moved to Oct 5th). Well shortly after talking to her and fixing the payment issue I received an email from verizon saying my order had been completed, but my checking on the preorder site still said payment had not been taken. Well just now I RECEIVED MY TRACKING NUBMER!! Hope that it works out for those who had the same thing happen.

Just tell them to make a note on your account stating that you're expecting a charge from Verizon and give them a rounded up total (ie: mine is around $450 so I just said $500).
Possibly cuz another user from Houston just got his shipping confirmation shortly after mine.
Yeah it's making me think they're doing this in zones. I'm in Houston and got mine exactly at 10:00 AM CST, and so did some other members here from San Antonio and South Texas.

I ordered on friday at 8am EST, got the initial email about "will be delivered on 9/21" and nothing from them since then.
My credit card shows a $1 charge.

i added a line for only $10 extra a month and got normal 2 year pricing, my plan already has discounts for my plan and unlimited data, so im going to just transfer the iphone 5 to that line
I'm in Montgomery. I ordered at 2 am on Friday. My order number is 7 digits as well.
Well this sucks.. I guess west texas gets to be last yet again
. I've talked to a few folks at Verizon and they all say mines pretty much sitting in a box, waiting to be assigned a tracking number by FedEx.. sighI have a very similar situation to you. I'm in College Park, MD, confirmation email came at 7:06am EST, location code D772001, order number is 67***. No card charge (other than $1 authorization on the 14th), no tracking info, no change in status.
I'm in between contracts so I:
Sold my Iphone 4s with Mophie Juice Pack for $350.00
Used a $200 pre-paid Visa card from ATT Uverse (for signing up)
Used a $75 pre-paid Visa card given to me as a thank you for letting a neighbor plug into my generator during Hurricane Isaac.
....and paid the rest on my own in order to get Da Iphone 5 !

yea i got same code and mine shipped this 1 am left from west chester pa, for del. on friday... card is charged and im in Virginia.
hope this helps.. if anything u can call verizon like i did and make sure it went thru and you will recieve it on 21st
Something I just thought of for those of us who haven't seen any activity. I, for one, got assigned a new number when I added a 2nd line onto the account. My confirmation email gave me that number.
I just called it. I don't think anything has been processed yet, because the call didn't go directly to voice mail, it went to a pre-recorded message telling me that the line has been disconnected, etc.
Soooooo, with that being said for those of us who haven't seen anything yet, may want to try with our new numbers and see if that gets you anywhere, might be something to also occupy while you watch and read the boards.

Are you saying that if it's shipping or in the process of shipping the transaction went through successfully?
Pretty sure shipping is based on where you live. I ordered at 12:40am on Friday and have yet to get a tracking number. Just go charged yesterday afternoon.
