#73 from that facility and still at 'Your order has been shipped.'

I live in Chicago, you in that vicinity?

I am order #438. Shows Has Been Shipped with no tracking info yet.

I am thinking the ones that show expected delivery dates or tracking info are east coast cause they are an hour later and have had more time to package, ship and fedex has made their pickup run.

Central peps may be still waiting for fedex to update their databases cause the pickup scan hasn't posted yet. My guess is the tracking portion of VW order status page is linked to fedex, and it can sometimes take a few hours before the tracking info posts.

My assumptions are based on when I was a shipping mananger for a shoe store in Michigan where I handled all the online orders, which we shipped on a daily basis, pick ups were round 4pm and drop offs were round 11am. It usually took till early evening, like 6-7pm for the tracking info to post.

I think if it shows shipped, and others are confirming tracking info, ours is coming soon, in the next 2-3 hours imo.

Downtown. My thoughts exactly.
Just hope they keep the plows running for the delivery trucks :)

Ordered: 2:57am
E-Mail: 2:58am
Credit Card: Charged

We need to find out what these ACE# mean.

My order has 'shipped' too... now what does that really mean!

Your still paying for your current usage. Most people who already have smartphones won't pay any more than they already do for the iphone
This is true -- however, I'm not sure it would be 25 million bucks in revenue or not -- but 7 days of use is a possible 7 days of prorating a 30 dollar data plan to your bill..which could be a ton of money for them. they want these things in our hands asap. so we will get them as soon as its possible..pretty much..could be tomorrow could be next week -- who knows what their process is like.

The ACE order number is the order number for that specific device. Whoever posted that image was the 592nd person to order that particular device. the ACE location is the location that the item was billed from and will ship from (you can view this actual location on your credit statement).

Well, the good news is Lake Shore is open, which is a big deal.

My bro is coming in tonight for yo la tengo tomorrow night and I think the roads are looking pretty good. He has never used an iPhone and his is on the way to michigan, it would be nice to show him some tips tomorrow cause he has had flip phones forever.

this is no longer a forum. it's a support group. :D

Hahaha, as eager and excited as I am, I'm trying to be as patient as I could be (as I refresh the order info page every 5-10 minutes....) It's a forum that comes packaged with support!

Realistically I'm sure Verizon was prepared to deal with the seemingly insurmountable amount of orders and it will surely take time to process all the information (even when done electronically). Unfortunately I'm sure they do it in batches, but each of us look as our order as a single, individual one.

I've been there many times with many of my orders, impatiently waiting for tracking info, checking for tracking updates 20-50 times a day. I'm actually waiting for a glider for my newborn that was supposed to be delivered yesterday, but the storm here in the Chicagoland area screwed it up :(

despite what the email said about standard overnight mine was sent 2 day. Not that happy about it but i guess you can't complain since i'm still getting it before the 10th. And i got an email from verizon with the tracking number today at 2:29 cst.

screen cap the email!

Well, I placed my order 15+ hours ago, and it still shows the same status:

We have received your order and it is in process.

I still have the option to cancel or modify payment, etc. So nothing's happened so far. Doesn't seem to have any rhyme or reason as to who's is getting sent and when. I'm east coast and ordered at 3:01 am this morning.

(I wake up a lot at night, thought I may as well.) The only thing that may have been different was that I had to await their credit approval before the order was confirmed since it had been a long time since their last check. The approval email was only 55 minutes later. (I was back asleep by then.)

*shrug* go figure...I have no idea why mine isn't on it's way yet.

This is speculation but i think the Ace Location Number also has to do with the location being shipped to. Imagine sorting the items, placing all iPhones going to texas or southern us on the same truck and giving them the same number sounds smart to me, my Ace location # is N211401 and i am in Texas does this fit with anyone else?

Very True, just from a hype point of view you would figure they would want to get them out ASAP. I have alot of ATT friends who are routing for me to get mine so they can play with it to decide if they want to get one on the 10th. I have been with verizon for 10 years now, and haven't been disappointed yet, so hopefully they pull through

Just got an email from Verizon saying my order was cancelled?? Yet when I check the order status it still says "We received your order and it is in process. Payment not taken yet." What is going on??!

I can confirm this based off what my bank statement says:

CHECKCARD 02/03 VERIZON WRLS D7708-01 WARREN NJ

I live in upstate NY, Saratoga area

This is what my bank statement says:
CHECKCARD 02/03 VERIZON WRLS D7708-01 WARREN NJ

I'm in Astoria, NY. Hasn't appeared on my bank statement yet, but claims to be shipped. Looks like we may be getting ours from Jersey, huh?

my bank statement also says warren nj but i have a different ace location #, can we find any 2 that have the same ace location number and see if they live close to one another?
