Despite what the email said about Standard Overnight mine was sent 2 Day. Not that happy about it but I guess you can't complain since I'm still getting it before the 10th. And I got an email from Verizon with the tracking number today at 2:29 CST.
There are no reference numbers on that image... could be anything from anywhere, not just an iPhone.. Just saying...

You should be able to make an argument with Verizon and try to get a discount somewhere.
Mine still says in process and my credit card hasn't been billed. I ordered mine around 3:10am yet I still haven't seen anything. WTF?
Actually I think that tracking info is for the case I ordered after I did the inital order for the phone. Sorry for the mix up. My phone does show shipped on the website but doesn't have tracking info yet.
It probably says 2-Day because its coming outta Memphis, TN....where the weather delays are?
Bear in mind, many banks don't post transactions to credit accounts until the next day.
Depends on where you live. When I worked for Fedex a few years back we had certain delivery areas that just did not accept Priority or Standard over night packages because there was no way to meet that 10:30am or 3pm shipping commitment. That's why 2 day commitment time is by 7pm with no guarantees for any type of earlier delivery. If you live in an area way outside of a major city this could be the case...If not, then I have no clue why they can't get it to you overnight.

After reading this thread, I'm a bit upset. I stayed up waiting to order (though not as bad since I'm in the West Coast), and placed my order a few minutes before midnight PST. My confirmation email didn't come til early morning and my order number is +10,000.WTF? Status is in process and cc hasn't been charged. This is bull. But as long as I get it before the 10th and in pristine condition, that's all it matters I guess. I wonder how many orders they go thru in one day? Seems only a few thousand so far. Kind of odd, is it not? I'd think they'd be able to process a lot more.
I live in downtown Dallas so I'm pretty sure I can get 10:30 overnight shipments. I'm hoping it still comes tomorrow. They have charged my credit card though.
Your still paying for your current usage. Most people who already have smartphones won't pay any more than they already do for the iphone
