Verizon iPhone Orders Already Shipping

I don't care that my phone is late. It's the principle behind it and the inability of anyone to give me a legitimate reason as to why it happened. I don't like being told one thing, then being told another with no legitimate reason behind it. If they could give me a reason? Fine. But they can't. And when I get some makeshift reason, another rep will give me a completely other reason. It's poor customer service and they should be embarrassed.
Oh, and if you could actually see me, you'd realize I'm really not all that mad. Nonverbal cues don't exactly communicate well through the internet, do they?
But thanks for your quick, completely nonprofessional psychoanalysis of me, considering you know absolutely nothing whatsoever about me or my personality. It really shows good moral character and an ability to connect with people without sounding like a pretentious fool.

i called VZ and the got the standard "phone will arrive on or before the 10th" Didn't like that answer so I called back and got a rep who confirmed shipment, gave me my tracking and even pulled up fedex's website and gave my a location update...
Ironic thing was that as i was talking to her my verizon "phone shipped" email came through. I told the rep that and she laughed....she said you call came in at 2:53 and your shipping info was entered at 2:52. nice timing.
That is great news! My shipping info came at 121 this am and my phone is currently in Philly scheduled for delivery tomorrow.

My BB Tour is about full bars (5-4 fluctuates)
My iPhone fluctuates between 1-3 bars...
How's yours?
BOTH ARE VERIZON.
The first phone I had was a Motorola E815, second a Motorola Q, and the third a Blackberry Storm2. All had different reception strength. They were all Verizon but they all varied.

It's actually the opposite for me between my old Droid Eris and the new iPhone 4. The signal strength is a LOT better on the iPhone. Maybe you're holding it wrong????

Or maybe blackberry has a better reception than Droid and iPhone

This iPhone gets far better reception than my last three phones..a samsung omnia, env2 and razr.
also I have the wifi on.
I had the same situation. "Adverse weather conditions" popped up on my tracking at 3pm today with a time stamp of 5am. My phone is sitting "in a tractor trailer on the UPS lot" and they won't let me pick it up. It's been cloudy and 50 degrees all day.
I give up.
I will 2nd that. thought I heard an incoming text while upstairs - came down & looked across the room @ phone.. nothing. Figured I was just hearing things..
20 min later I realized theres no led alert but a pile of text messages lol

The display is amazing. Of course my storm had a quart of OJ in it for the past 5 weeks, so anything would have been an improvement but wow!
