Verizon iPhone Orders Already Shipping

Anyone having troubles with activating there phone? Ugh. I am so pissed. I can't contact the 1800 number because I am not on the account nor know the code. My dad does. I will have to email him and ask him to call verizon to allow me to be on the account so I can call in. Or else they won't let me. (Went to a verizon booth thing in the mall. and they told me all this) I plugged in my iphone to itunes to activate it, it repeated the i accept terms so I unplugged it and replugged it in. Now it says it can't activate and to contact Verizon...
I am going to stay home tomorrow and hope for the best. Either get a hold of my dad and then call verizon or/and go to the Verizon Store and hope they can help me...

WARNING ANOTHER STUPID QUESTION: As u can probably already tell I have not received my iphone yet im suppose to get it tomorrow so I am officially preparing. Can anyone tell me if any apps such as pandora, and facebook already come preinstalled on the iphone or should I get a head start and download in itunes now before I get my phone tomorrow
You pretty much have to install everything from iTunes. Only thing it comes with is Calendar, Weather, Maps, Utilities, Safari, App Store, Stocks (I know, wtf?), compass, iTunes, and YouTube.
Has anyone's Fedex status changed lately? Mine still has 4:51am as the last update.

I'm sure you're exxagerating. EVERYONE can't possibly be calling for updates. Cant be more than 500k (is that right?)- well divided by two if they split between UPS & Fedex
The girl that delivered mine today (FedEx) said she felt like she worked for VErizon-she had SO many iPhones to deliver & their systems were overwhelmed & blah blah blah so things were not updating & its just a TON of stuff to move.
I bet you get yours tomorrow. My status had BARELY(45 minutes?) been updated to "out for delivery" after 12 hours in a coma to "delivered"
I'm a bit disappointed, like you say YouTube is slow. I didn't realize just how slow until I compared it side by side with my AT&T iP4.
However the good news is it's only the iPhone. My Verizon Droid X plays it just as fast as my original iP4. So perhaps Apple will fix the Verizon iPhone. After all it's the first gen CDMA, it's bound to have bugs like Apples iP4 for AT&T.
That's the beauty of Apple, sooner or later they'll get around to fixing it. Even if they wait till the next model. The antenna on my V-iP4 is certainly better.
The iphone does NOT have a USB output. You would need to run a cable from your phones headphone jack the cars aux port. BTW you guys can download the macrumors app from the app store and read all these posts from your phone.

I tried to order from Verizon at 3:00pm central but failed three times so I order from Apple's site thank goodness. The phone is due tomorrow at 10:30. Wish me luck guys

Good Luck i'm in the same boat as you. I however had to call Apple tonight about 16 hrs before expected delivery and ask to have UPS hold my shippment at a local store due to my house having to be fumigated unexpectedly. Wish me luck that the request goes through and I can pick it up at 10:30am or before in the AM
I'm thinking about doing this. Did they let you pick a location to pick it up from?
As a continuous Verizon customer since 1988, I was able to pre order the iPhone 4 on their network. My order number 6878 (32 Gb black iPhone 4 with no accessories) placed around 1:12 am Phoenix time on the 3rd was scheduled to arrive 7 Feb by 4:30 pm. It arrived around 2:30 pm and I have finally rebuilt all the apps and music as they are on the ATT iPhone 4. I am getting great signal on the east edge of Phoenix whereas the ATT model has to have the ATT micro cell to show any signal. The phones are side by side.

According to Apple they UPS will let you pick the location, but when I called UPS they said it would be at the closest UPS location. My guess is you can request a different one but It may change the time for pick, not sure though. The only problem is because of the lack of notice they can't gaurantee the request to hold will go through, so I have to call in the morning to check and see. I did ask UPS how long Apples request should take to go through and she said prob a couple hours.
