Verizon iPhone Orders Already Shipping

WiFi shouldn't matter, and you will get a better signal at night because everyone pumps up their signals at night.
 
Well I got my iPhone (yay!) but can't activate it on my number... I upgraded using my husband's line. I'm stuck on the Activate Device page with the message that says I need to contact customer service. I'm pretty sure Verizon customer service is closed now (I was on hold for 55 min before I gave up), so I will try tomorrow. *sigh*

Thanks! I guess the first two reps I talked to when I called Verizon were pretty much worthless. They did nothing at all to remedy the situation. I guess my email must have worked.

Today is the day..and I'm awake an hour earlier than normal. I wonder why? :D Of course FedEx still isn't updating properly. Mine still says it arrived in Newark, NJ at 11:53 PM last night. No updates since.

There was a post like 40 or so pages ago that explained step by step how to do it for someone in your situation. Sorry I did't have the time to go back and find it. :apple:
 
You all are sooo lucky!!! All they can tell me is that my iphone was sent to FEDEX either Saturday or yesterday and that my account has been charged and that I will definitely get it before the 10th but that is starting to creep closer and closer with no tracking info. Is anyone else by chance in the same boat as me??

I am in your boat too. even phone calls don't get me anywhere. All they say is the order has been completed, and I will be notified when it is shipped, and it will be shipped by the 10th. First come first served.
What time did you place your order? My confirm says shipped before the 9th. So, it sounds like they even sold more on pre-orders than they could possibly ship. So frustrating.

More so to find out that although the pre-order wasn't supposed to start until 3:00 am EST last Thursday, many checked online early and then got their orders in before that.
 
Mine is scheduled to arrive too today via UPS. Do we know if they will leave it at the door if I left a note??

Anyone have any success with this?

I got mine ordered and my confirmation email was at 3:50 AM. Mine also says ship before the 9th but they said mine was already sent to FEDEX so I don't know whats going on... Is yours on a business account?

I ordered through Verizon and mine is supposed to come today. I would have gotten it yesterday but there was an issue on their end.

Tracking says at local facility...one step closer!

All shipment travel activity is displayed in local time for the location

Mine is still at Local Sort Facility. Waiting for it to go on a truck.

Mine had no updates since last night at 11:53 PM, then finally at 8:53 AM it said arrived at local facility, six minutes later at 8:59 it said on vehicle for delivery. Some people had their delivered before it ever had updates.

If you ordered through apple then your email confirming shipping has a place to "pre-sign" for you package. Print that page out and sign it and put the tracking number on it.
