Same here, still no tracking email. But all signs are that order went through successfully at 2:59 AM EST. Location code D771101.

I'm just south of you in Elizabeth City, NC. I got my tracking email this morning. It was generated in the system at 430am but I never received it through Yahoo mail until 828am this morning. Hopefully you'll get it soon.
 
I've never seen anything like this before. I've never ordered something and the company or the shipper couldn't give me a concrete answer of when it was coming. If you purchase something and the money has left your bank account, how can they withhold the location of your package or any details???
 
System didn't go down. I was in the ordering process. If it had just been congestion then I would understand. Not to mention, they launched when CS was closed so there was no way to get technical support.
Also, as long as I get my phone relatively close to the time people who ordered through Verizon do, then I have no beef. However, if apple holds till the 10th and Verizon customers start getting theirs today or monday I will be livid. From everything I could see there was no intention to treat customers differently if they ordered through the apple web page vs. the verizon web page. Just my 2 cents. Besides, you never know until you ask. What is so lame about asking????

If you get it after February 10th you have a legitimate complaint. Anyone getting it earlier than that is a privilege, not a right.

What is lame is that people who pester for illegitimate claims will often get some kind of compensation just because it's less trouble for the cs rep. And then you know how they make up for those hits to the bottom line?
 
It's still early in the day, but I find it a little too coincidental that no one in this thread has received their package yet. We may be getting ourselves excited for nothing.

actually, you need to call Verizon and have them contact Fedex to override this. i'm just waiting for the request to go through and then im driving to go pick mine up from west chester, pa

That's Genius why did I think of that .... no seriously Verizon said they can only change the shipping address and that will take 24hrs to process. In no way will they allow it to be held at the Fedex location

that's funny, i just got off the phone with both verizon and fedex at the same time, and they could care of me.

lol. Have you not ordered a lot of things? jeez. They gave you a concrete answer- on or before Feb. 10th. I order lots of things that come without tracking #'s, or those totally useless USPS tracking numbers.

It's fun when ppl get all overly-excited for a phone. But when ppl ***ch and moan like someone's withholding water from them or something- :rolleyes::rolleyes::mad::mad:

As a former Fedex employee I will warn you guys not to get your hopes up on heading to your nearest station and picking up the package on Saturday. Here is what you will want to do before you make the trip.

1. Confirm 100% that your package is currently at the station. You may have to call customer service because the updating is slow on the company website. Then request it to be put on hold (if you can..Verizon may restrict that).

2. If your package is at the station and you head over to get it Saturday with your tracking number and it isn't on hold, then don't expect a pleasant customer service experience. Whenever a customer comes in and requests a package that isn't on hold and is due for a Monday delivery just know that the Agent can out right tell you no, unless it's a medical emergency. The reason for this is because service agents are not allowed to be in the "cans" doing what we use to call "can diving". It's dangerous because more than likely those cans are packed with packages for Monday delivery and could fall and hurt someone, plus they aren't going to invest alot of manpower into looking for your "toy" (sorry...I hate put it that way, but that's how they will see it ;)). So just keep in mind if they do agree to do it, then you owe them big, but otherwise don't get mad because your package really isn't suppose to be there until Monday and you can live without it (maybe).

3. If you were lucky enough to call and get a hold...Make sure you have your tracking number and then profit!

There ya go..Goodluck if you did get a Saturday hold though.:D
 
Has anyone who is a business customer gotten shipping notification yet? Or any changes in the order status?

the non knowing verizon rep said that my location is empty and have to wait for a new shipment. WTF is that about!

My order went through about 2:56 AM EST. Got my confirmation email at 3:01 AM EST. My order # is 1174424 (which is WAY higher than a lot of people's who ordered later than I did- I know that supposedly the #s are tied to the locations codes, but... 1.1 million orders in less than 10 minutes from one location? Don't think so...)

Order changed to shipped yesterday morning, but nothing since then.

the *611 tells me it has shipped with no more than 2 day delivery, but when I hit 2 for tracking info, it tells me it does not find an order with that number...

Just curious if anyone else got any info yet. I'm in the Nashville, TN area if that helps.

I placed my order no later then 5-10 Mins early when it all started...Got my confirmation email stating that I got them, 611 says shipped and VZW Reps state it has been shipped and billed but no Tracking Number...Looked at my Account when I first found out it was shipped and it was charged to my account, now today It is not charged. No problems on my banks side and no problems on VZW side. Why did the transaction disappear on my bank account but everything on VZW still says Its shipped and charged?

In the same boat here...Verizons website status doesn't work...well may be working but no additional info..so shipped but thats it

I had the same problem, but the rep suggested I clear out my cache/cookies and try again. It worked. So you might want to try that if you haven't already. :)

means that it should of been delivered by 10:30 is that what they told you?

No it means NEXT DAY AIR. DELIVERY CONFIRMATION.

That's all. It's the service type. I believe that UPS' NDA, though, has a 11am delivery quota, but not 100% on that.
