Overnight is a best effort type thing. Saturday delivery is an add-on (for a price) or negotiated with the sending company. I am sure VZ did not pay for that option

Ya, im in chicago and my tracking info is showing delivery of monday, which i am a little bummed about, considering everything was back to normal yesterday morning here
For those of you who have not received a tracking number yet, someone posted this on another forum and it worked for me. Shows my being delivered on Monday.

I agree. Where did Apple or Verizon say you would have it Friday prior to the 10th????

Oh so you are getting in, it's just blank! Yeah, mine is blank too. I just thought I was the only one getting a blank due to my situation and everyone would be okay. I guess not. I guess they're still working on the system then. Oh well.

Thanks for the tip but didnt work for me, D771001 with order number < 1500
Ugh, doesn't VZW realize they didn't have to pay extra for Saturday delivery? And that I gladly would have footed the bill?

What worries me too is my Apple order says standard shipping. That could be another 5 days. I didn't see the option for overnight shipping when I placed the order, of course it was 2:00 am
Based on what I've seen so far, it appears no one will be getting phones today. Everyone is slated for Monday at the earliest.

I think it does make sense for Verizon & Apple to make sure we don't get them until Monday. With the Super Bowl this Sunday, I'm thinking it may cause a lot of ppl to use up the bandwidth during the weekend and may cause ppl to complain that the iphone is slow, which would deter potential buyers from buying on the 10th. Now I don't know how much of an affect on the bandwidth Super Bowl would have, but I'm thinking there should be at least some and why take the chance on one of the biggest product opening day for Verizon?
Ok, it's been almost 19 hours since I ordered. Why does mine still only say they have recieved my order and it is processing?!!!!!!

You guys have to go to their online tracking system, your order number has to be the confirmation number from your order confirmation (not the order number they give you) and your last name. You don't use the location code as printed in the instructions there. It says the location code is used only when purchased through a verizon store and NOT FOR PRE-ORDERS as it says to the left of the location code. If you guys are using a different tracking system then I am please pass the URL along.

I just got off the phone from a representative with UPS, who was very nice to deal with. I haven't gotten any update on UPS since this info:
