Verizon iPhone Orders Already Shipping

You can track by reference number on FedEx, for those who are wondering if maybe you just haven't received the email from VZW yet.

Use your location code mine is 0862001
Underscore
Your order number, MUST BE 9 DIGITS so if yours is only 5 digits, for example 76547, fill the prior area with 0's so 000076547

Track by reference on FedEx your number should look something like 0862001_000076547

You'll need to supply the country and destination zip code as well.

I would assume your location code would work, IF, your package has been shipped AND information uploaded into the carriers system AND the shipping carrier is FedEx. Otherwise, you'll get nothing.

Some have posted that this method has worked, others aren't having luck. If you aren't having luck either your device hasn't shipped, FedEx isn't your carrier, or FedEx hasn't updated it's daily manifest yet.

There are numerous reasons why you may not have received your email stating your device has shipped from VZW, but mainly because their email system sucks as does their online status system.

Hey thanks, it worked for me. Did two separate orders (two 16 GB and one 32GB) just before 3 AM CST, (last minute, what the hell, let's just get one for all the lines!) I got email and tracking number at 10:00PM last night for the 2nd order, but nothing yet today on the first order. Entered the reference number and BINGO, the other FedEx tracking form pops up. Looks Like I'll be getting all three phones Monday before 3 PM. Even though it's been like the Energizer Bunny, it's time to put the 2004 Audiovox 9900 flip phone down and enjoy the 32GB iPhone. well, if some people started getting them friday, but you didn't how would you feel. I think it will be a lot easier to swallow if some people get theirs on Monday and yours comes Tuesday instead of having to wait the whole weekend knowing people got theirs and you didn't.

Some will get theirs today though so that makes it even worse. at least with an extra day in the work week most would get them today

It is either "In transit" or "On truck for delivery" Not in transit for delivery.
 
Just talked to a fedex rep. She said that the despite the fact that fedex picked up my phone earlier today, the plane won't get to Pittsburgh until Monday morning. not buying it.
 
I just got off work and don't really feel like reading the 25+ pages i missed.

Still no email, still not able to log into MyVerizon, still not able to check my order status, and the automated one tells me my order doesn't exist when I ask for a reference number.

I called to find out what was going on. Waste of time. The man told me to check the order status online and then the automated one.

Me: "The order status on the webpage doesn't work, I can't log into MyVerizon, and I didn't get an email."
Him: "We didn't ship or send any out."
Me: Why do people have shipping numbers via email and tracking information that says it is in transit?"
Him: "Hmmm? You can check your order online."
Me: "No, I can't - this is why I am calling you."
Him: "Go to www.verizonwireless.com/orderstatus"
Me; " It...does...not...work..."
Him: Do you want me to transfer you to the automated message?"

**I hang up**


EDIT - He calls me back and leaves me a voice mail telling me how to log into the order status screen.

Him: "Type in your order number and then your last..... oh... wait... it says its down. Sorry I can't help." Click
 
Got shipping confirmation email and tracking # Mine is coming from Memphis by 3pm Monday..I completed my order @ 3 11 AM and live in NC

That's what time the driver left the station. Full time drivers work from 6am until all the packages have been delivered or at least attempted. The fact that he left around 10 means he is either a backup driver not carrying any priority or the station had a delay in receiving packages which would make sense thanks to the weather. This means his package DOES NOT have to be delivered by 3 thanks to the Fedex weather policy.

Did you input the order number or the confirmation number? I got that 'tech prob' message when I input the order number. This page says, "for Pre-Orders(16 digit confirmation number).)"

Sounds about right to me...Fedex picked up your phone today which was probably around 4am (like most everybody else here) and it will be out for delivery on the next business day...Monday. I don't see what she would gain by lying to you. :rolleyes:
 
West Chester Fedex:

I just got off the phone with verizon and fedex. I had Verizon put a hold on my shipment so I could pick it up at the local fedex store as soon as it arrives. Fedex told me that my package is leaving the West Chester verizon distribution center tomorrow morning. My local store is in King of Prusia, PA which is only 10-15min away from West Chester. The King of Prusia store is open until 5PM on Saturdays. As long as it reaches King of Prusia tomorrow i am golden :D

It did not update any further than that but It was delivered!! I am not making this up!! The problem is it will not let me activate the damn thing!! :confused: By the way I live in Pennsylvania, Lancaster County. West Chester is only about an hour drive from my house.

I'm not saying she is lying. Fedex won;t deliver on saturdays unless you pay for it but they will still transport packages (I know two people who used to work for fedex) and they have flown in packages on saturdays before even though they weren't scheduled to be delivered until monday.

Windows phone is better!

Ive used both and windows phone is definitely better. You people need to grow up and get a real phone. WINDOWS
