It did not update any further than that but It was delivered!! I am not making this up!! The problem is it will not let me activate the damn thing!! By the way I live in Pennsylvania, Lancaster County. West Chester is only about an hour drive from my house.

UPS or Fedex?
 
I finally just got an update to mine, but still no estimated delivery date.

him: "we didn't ship or send any out."
me: Why do people have shipping numbers via email and tracking information that says it is in transit?"
him: "hmmm? You can check your order online."
me: "no, i can't - this is why i am calling you."
him: "go to www.verizonwireless.com/orderstatus"
me; " it...does...not...work..."
him: Do you want me to transfer you to the automated message?"

**i hang up**


edit - he calls me back and leaves me a voice mail telling me how to log into the order status screen.

Him: "type in your order number and then your last..... Oh... Wait... It says its down. Sorry i can't help." click

my fedex tracking page still says "shipment information sent to fedex"
how would i go about getting them to hold it so i can pick it up tomorrow???

call verizon, have them put the Hold at Facility request; just did this for my shipment and confirmed by Fedex

I am pretty sure that means the warehouse has told Fedex that they have a package for them to pick up. You would have to wait for it to get to your local hub to put a hold on it. Can't hold it at the warehouse.

Did they give you any problems? They REFUSED to do this for me this morning. He said his supervisor said they couldn't do it for security purposes...

Not sure if it's worth it now, since my facility isn't open tomorrow...but maybe that would let me pick it up first thing Monday?
 
Theres like 3-5 big hubs around me how do i find out which one it is going to? Hopefully have UPS hold it when it arrives today so I can go pick it up tomorrow
 
I just spoke to a buddy of mine who works at the local distribution center for FedEx and he said that all iPhones that were sent from Verizon weren't scheduled to be delivered until Monday. Some might have made it through the cracks but they were told a few weeks ago about an influx of orders from Verizon and that they would be going to the people who ordered them on the Monday following the sales.

I'd just like to know why the order shows it was picked up in Memphis, TN, at 4 in the afternoon. Makes me suspicious that this isn't his iPhone. So far no one who says they've received theirs has been able to provide a picture.
