I ordered from Verizon on 9/14 and it still shows 10/3 for a delivery date.....
Anyone get moved up to 9/21?
I’m hopeful that we get moved up. The only reason I got the 10/3 date was because I ordered way later than I normally would. Had no interest in ordering this year, and then the Verizon deal happened. Had to jump on it. My wife and I ordered 2 Maxes 256GB Silver. Both were listed as 9/21 shipping dates all day. Then approximately 1 hour before we ordered it flipped to 10/3. So I think with cancellations, etc, we should see some movement.
I also just found it rather weird that it went from 9/21 to 10/3. That feels like a “safe buffer”. Normally it would have jumped from 9/21 to like 9/25 or 9/28 first...
Yeah that “buffer” time seems accurate. I ordered the wrong phone and didn’t realize until like 5pm and had to cancel. I know the Apple store was 9/28 but I see those orders probably all getting pushed up
Ordered the XS Max 256gb Gold on Sunday, still showing 10/3.
Definitely has to be more of us lol
I ordered evening 9/14 still have a ship date of 9/28-10/5. No CC charge yet. "Your order will be available soon"
What did you order? I haven't seen anyone have a gap time window.

Ah! Gotcha! I thought it was Verizon carrier orders not specifically ordered from Verizon. Thanks
Verizon small business customer here. Had a Verizon business rep set to place an order for 5 256GB XS Maxes (2 SG, 2 Gold, 1 Silver) at 2am CST. Woke up to an email around 7:30am saying the order wouldn't go through because the POC didn't have an email address associated with the account. After back and forth headaches all day, the order was finally placed at about 3:30pm that day, 9/14. The date given for the phones was 10/3, but the girl I was dealing with told me that business customers get top priority so we'll likely get them early. Don't know if that was her trying to pacify me since I was kind of up her butt all day, but as of now, it still says 10/3 and processing. Also, she told me that not many people were ordering the 256GB Max models, which seemed a bit surprising to me. But oh well, best of luck to you all, and here's to getting our phones hopefully next week!

Well that was quick; just got an email that the order has shipped and FedEx tracking checks out and says 9/21 delivery. Order page still says 10/3, but status says order shipped!

Same, hopefully with the business account getting a bump we will get bumps too.
I am curious if he was treated as the first 10/3’s to get shipped, or if he was given 9/21 special treatment for being business. As in, jumped into the 9/21 pool.
I am hoping he just jumped to the top of the 10/3 pool, because that would mean the rest of us aren’t far behind.
Yeah I doubt business gets that much of a priority because some households ordered the same number of phones and pay the same phone bill minus a discount
I have to follow-up on my post about all my business phones shipping. Turns out the only one that shipped was the Silver iPhone XS Max 256GB. This was probably the least popular color. They are telling me 10/3 on the others still, but they said they may ship earlier than that.
I ordered through the Verizon chat system on 9/14 at 3PM Eastern. Got a Gray 64GB XS and a Silver 64GB XS Max with an estimated ship date for 10/3 for both.
The XS has been shipped and will be delivered tomorrow. The XS Max is still showing processing for 10/3.
I was on the fence on whether to upgrade this year. I currently have an iPhone X after previously owning an iPhone 7 Plus. I finally decided to upgrade to the Max to get that big screen back and placed my order on Tuesday night using Apple Pay. They gave me a date of 10/03.
This morning after reading the horror stories about Apple Pay being declined on multiple users over on the main Verizon preorder thread, I actually cancelled that order and made a new one using my credit card. Still have a 10/03 date.

I’m going to make a bold prediction...we will get ours sometime next week. Once people start cancelling online orders after finding phones in stores, I could see some of us getting our phones earlier than 10/03.
If I am hoping for the 28th. I am out of town that weekend and I’d love to have my new phone. But knowing my luck it will be scheduled to deliver that weekend and I’ll have to figure something out.
I was just charged but it was obviously declined for some reason not sure on the phone now
Had to speak with the core department to give payment info the guy tried to tell me just because the payment is made doesn’t mean it will ship he is still showing 10/3 I told him Verizon does charge until shipment he tried to say it was a authorization hold blah blah blah I’ve been doing this 6 years and counting so I know how it works but we will see what happens

I ordered on 9/14 my Verizon account shows that my order was placed on 9/14 as well. My account shows a ship date of October 3
However I literally just received a text message saying that my order was received on September 20 and that I will get another text message when it ships
Wth is going on here lol
