Not leaving VZW, so this is great for me.

All I know is I got a $650 discount on the newest iPhone...which is at least $150 more than I would have gotten for my 6S on the market. WIN/WIN for me.

Agreed!! The most I was going to get for my phone was $363..
[doublepost=1473438363][/doublepost]BTW: Hopped over to AT&T's site, seems like they are doing it too.

When I called, I asked the same thing. The rep checked with her supervisor who said that it wasn't necessary to cancel the order, it could be done when the new phone is received.
I'm sure it's possible and I'm glad you were able too. Unfortunately I didn't have the same luck.

I went to my local Verizon store to speak to the manager and get the fine print on this offer. Based on feedback I received this appears to be a good offer if you intend on keeping the phone 2 years. If you plan on taking advantage of the 1 year upgrade the credit stops and you receive whatever the offer is at the time. Thinking if you are planning to do this take the best cash offer you can for your phone. At least its in your pocket without waiting a year

So what you are saying is that it is best to just keep my iphone 6 and not trade it in for that promo and not cancel my pre-order?

Dumb question but to apply for this deal, one would have to bought their iPhone from the Verizon site? I just saw this and bought my iPhone from Apple.com

So just to confirm with everyone, if I ordered my 7 Plus last night and have a 6 to trade in, I should be good to go with the offer? Shouldn't have to cancel and reorder? A rep I talked to told me I was showing up as eligible but just wanted to check with everyone else. Where do you look to see if the trade in shows up?

I see it says your iphone 7 must remain active on device payment for 24 months to receive credits... If after a year I want to upgrade, can I start the apple iphone upgrade program to get the next phone and still continue paying off the old phone on verizon on the same line?

I have no idea. I'd talk to verizon and see what they say.

Ya that is what I am thinking. ~$300 right now vs $34 a month for 2 years - if I stay for those 2 years.

Two questions, can someone tell me the breakdown of the bill they got charged? I literally do not understand what I got charged for in the DPP.

Second, if I put the wrong IMEI # phone (but still the same phone capacity/version I want to trade in), which was a terrible process because throughout my accounts years we have had multiple iphone's on our account, will that be alright?

Do you guys know if I can just do the trade-in in store? I have the confirmation that I will get the $650. It'd be easier for me to just walk into the Verizon store.

You should be able to, but I'd call the store and ask just to be sure.

If you plan on keeping the phone 2 years. Great Deal. If you are planning a yearly upgrade take the best cash offer you can get which will be close to 12 months of the credits but cash in hand. DO NOT CANCEL PREORDER. JUST DO NOT DO TRADE IN

I am planning on keeping this phone for 2 years. However, I went ahead and decided not to cancel my pre-order. I was on the phone with Verizon and they confirmed that I will have to cancel my pre-order. She recommended me to keep the pre-order. So, I am probably just going to trade in my phone for cash either at verizon or at a place like Gazelle. Plus if I would have cancelled, the lady said my phone wouldn't come in until October.

Which color did you get? I cancelled and re-ordered mine and it's still showing 9/16 for shipment.

Expected ship date
09/16/2016

I got the gold though.

In fairness, if you do get the deal and upgrade after 12 months, you would have received $325 in credit.

Going back through and clicked on all the color options. Silver seems to be shipping on 9/23, and obviously Jet black in october, but Jet Black doesn't qualify for this promo. The others still say 9/16 for ship date.

Jet Black doesn't qualify for the promo? Why? I thought it was all 7 and 7 Plus devices? I ordered a 7+ matte black 128gb hope I can still get the promo!
