That's a great deal for sure. Did you have to do anything to sign up for the trade in deal or is it just automatic when you buy a 7 or 7 Plus? And is there anywhere I can check to see if I am eligible for that trade in (if it's not automatic), I already ordered a 128GB 7 Plus.
I was worried about that, but I was repeatedly assured by multiple reps that it's less of a "redeemable deal" than just the promotion that they're running. You get a 7, return an eligible device, and you get the promotion. I got the distinct impression that it was more or less automatic.
Cool, I will do that for sure. Now just have to figure out if I will get mine on launch day or not. If not, I'll go to the store on launch.
I'm hoping that all the pre order estimates are just place holders and are a bit crazy right now, and that as launch day approaches the dates will even out and many of us will get our iPhone 7's and 7 Plus's on launch. That's what I'm hoping anyway!
I don't there's a deal to apply. Simply return your current devices when you receive your new phones. You should get the $650 credit for the returns.

Not what the customer service respective and the people at my local store told me, since two of my lines were on edge and both lines had a balance left on it. I was not told to pay off the balance up front before I did the upgrade.
Ah, remaining balances. Yeah, completely different situation. I've never been on a DPP and was not under a contract.

One of my lines had just gone out of contract but my other two lines were still on Edge and had a remaining balance so I had to pay those off but the Tele-Sales person did not tell me that.
