I used the Verizon app. Went to devices, upgrade device. The phones don't show up under Apple devices so I went to the chat when you hit the magnifier and + icon at top right. Type in whatever device. "iPhone 7 plus". The automated chat shows you a link. Go to it and you see the device and go through the whole process. Did it on my i6Plus

Heck yea man! I got the same exact set up. So excited for the new matte black device!!
 
Apple site still not working. Gonna try to cancel Verizon order and order through Apple. On Verizon webpage it says you can trade in the device later.
 
So I can go thru on my app but I don't know if I should cause it says September 28! Noooo can I walk in a store on launch day?
 
I just upgraded all of the phones on my plan. what a deal. We were on the old plan too so switching over saved us $90 a month plus we all get free iPhone 7s!! (besides paying tax and the first month payment)

2 jetblacks for Oct 5th
Black is in Sept
Gold is in Sept
 
How will I do the trade-in? According to the website it says that Verizon will send me a box within 5 days. Well since I'm not getting my iPhone 7 until Oct 5th, I'm not going to be sending the trade-in out anytime soon. Or is it as long as they get it like 30 days within the activation of the new iPhone 7?

the person on the phone told me the box won't ship till the iPhones ship
