Carrier Verizon offering iPhone 7 for $0 with trade-in

all so i get a Deliver By: 09/28/2016 but hoping to get it sooner then later

Yeah, I asked her multiple times to confirm and she put notes in my account regarding all the info we chatted about so I think it should be fine.

I got the same thing from a rep. I didn't do the trade in during checkout. When I called, she said that because I ordered during the promotion, when I receive my phones, I can just go through the trade in process and the credit is applied. Let's hope it all goes smoothly...

So the CSR confirmed that you're on a device payment plan (DPP) for 2 years, but that you wouldn't have a device payment (it would be considered paid in full)?

My rep told me that I'll still be able to upgrade for next year when the phone comes out. Technically when you do the trade in, the phone will be fully paid off so therefore you owe nothing and are not paying on the phone at all.

I was in a rush to order and did not choose the trade in. Would I be able to get the trade in? Seems like in some of the fine print it says you can trade in later. Is this true? Did somebody manged to confirm this with verizon?

Also in some of the promotional material it say upto $650. Are we guaranteed $650 if the phone we trade in is is good working condition or is it going to be tough to get the full credit?

It is only offering my $298 for my iPhone 6s Plus 128GB. How do I get the $650

Talk to a rep about claiming the deal after placing an order.

They're generally pretty lenient with trade ins. If your phone has a good screen, works, etc., then you'll probably get the full amount.

Yeah how does that work? It said promotional price was like $400 or $450 for my iPhone 5s, but yet under the trade in they offer me $98 dollars.... Hmmm...

I wonder if they just credit us the difference later on?
 
So I got the email about getting the trade in box and all that. But instead of that, can I just take it back to the store to complete with the trade in process once I got the new iPhone? And still get the $650?

Ok, please let me know what you find out. I'm getting this error now : "As part of a recent Device Payment upgrade, the device has to be returned to Verizon Wireless and is ineligible to trade in. For more information, please see our Device Payment FAQs (http://www.verizonwireless.com/support/device-payment-faqs/)."

They only have thousands (if not tens of thousands) of people doing the same thing right now. I'd give it a few hours.

Or try a chat rep.

Or try a Spanish rep (they're usually bilingual anyway).

I'm trying for a chat rep while at the same time on calling the actual phone line too... not working out for me
