Carrier [Verizon Shipping Thread] Anyone get confirmation of a Verizon shipment yet?

So this is great... The one time I actually decided to splurge a little with my money and get the higher capacity (64gb) that's the main one taking longer than everyone else. I haven't seen not one gold 64 thats has been changed from "we are still processing your order expected ship date 9/24" on here. :confused::( and I ordered before some of you guys too. I just have bad luck I figured it out.
 
Just chatted with Verizon. They confirmed the change in shipping dates from 9/24 to 9/30 (Gold, 64GB) and 10/7 (Space Gray, 64GB). Said that Apple cannot keep up with demand. Confirmation emails came in around 3:50 am.
 
I ordered my 32 GB Gold around 330 ET (Had a lot of troubles with Verizon- Go figure). Finally when I woke up today my card was charged but still no tracking number...

Nice! For those of you who are seeing it out for delivery today, do you happen to live near where the shipments are originating from? Either Memphis, TN or West Chester, PA? Just wondering if there's any explanation for it.

Mine Shipped from Memphis but I am in NYC

Are you serious? I just chatted with them this morning and they confirmed it would be sent. Today. Humph
 
Mine is sitting in the FEDEX location just a couple miles from my house, but I can't get it today because Verizon has instructed them not to "open the container" what ever that means! So stupid!:mad:
 
Mine has made it to Burbank this morning. I expect it to make it as far as my local fedex today, and no farther. Then tomorrow morning on the truck for delivery based on past FedEx shipments.

Doesn't really matter since I won't be home for delivery, so I will have to wait until I can reroute it to hold for pickup Thursday. ( my fedex guy is very nervous about leaving with a note, we haven't successfully gotten him to do that even with the FedEx signature form).

True. I thought I saw 3:05AM. My bad.
Though, they can't even meet demand on updating the first round of orders either. :eek:

Mine says "package not due for delivery" and it's literally 10 minutes from my house. Are they just not gonna ship it to me for no apparent reason? Rude.

I live in Macon, Ga about an hour south of Atlanta. Mines came from Memphis.

Grats!! I think you are the first to get yours. FedEx used to get here really early and UPS really late, but about a month ago they literally swapped delivery times for some reason :(
