I feel your pain, exact same thing happening to me. I've sent verizon a tweet, not that I expect anything to happen.
Verizon sucks at times lol. I'm not gonna be home tomorrow till later and I'm scared to ask the delivery guy to just leave it on my porch. We live in a nice area but you never know... Maybe i'll just tell him to leave it in my backyard.

To everyone who's status still has their phone in Memphis, don't panic! Most likely you are still on a Wednesday delivery. FedEx tracking has gotten bad in the past couple months and has a tendency not to update in realtime anymore. Your tracking will probably update later today when it arrives to the destination sorting center. CHEER UP PEOPLE
Because it has yet to depart the Memphis location and I'm in Chicago. I'll take your word for it and not freak out just yet, though.
Thanks for the words of comfort. I'll just do my chores around the apartment today and hope things look different by bedtime tonight.

Mine is almost identical to that down to the minute, ha. I've never put much stock into when FedEx updates their tracking info. They are promising delivery by end of day tomorrow, so I won't worry unless come tomorrow morning the tracker still hasn't updated
boy i was I wrong about them holding the delivery until Wednesday. On truck for delivery this morning. Delivery attempted at 10:49 am. Pick it up at depot at 3:00.

BUT...just called Verizon and they said that they are still showing that they will ship today. She is going to try to text me tracking information before she leaves work at 2:15 eastern. Will post an update when I get it. CC has not been charged.
I called the Verizon too and they are saying it is pending shipment and will be shipped today.
But i guess CSR have no access to shipping portal so they are just saying what we see under order status on Verizon website.
Don't worry about tracking reporting something as sitting in one place for a long time - means nothing.

My brother got the same response. He ordered like at 12:03 PST on launch day. He's going for a 16gb Gold.
same here. billing address is in New York. supposed to be shipping to me in Miami. went from PA to FedEx in NJ.....
