just got my tracking number for my 32gb gold. Ordered about 2:55am on Friday and got confirmation email at 3am Friday. Says delivery for Wed by 4p.
I should add that my cc flagged the charge as fraud Saturday. I called in to approve and had Verizon rerun the charge. It didn't seem to effect my place in queue which was my original concern.

FedEx has total barebones tracking information for now. No reference or even delivery city listed. The usual "electronic shipping information received" entry is not yet added so I presume that will all come in due time.
I had someone ship me something via FedEx 2-day from the next town. They let it sit in the terminal and delivered on the second day. You may want to try and see if you can pick it up at the terminal.
Subscribing to this thread, ordered a 32gb gold, and the confirmation email was received at 3:16am. CC hasn't been charged, no change to my status "processing", no tracking number, nada. Are they just picking people lottery-style to send the golds to? Lol
Just checked my order using the "check your order status" link in my confirmation email and I have a tracking number . The phone was picked up by fedex today and is scheduled for delivery on Wednesday (shipping via fedex 2 day).
This is for a 64gb space grey.

If your phone is shipping via FedEx, call (1.800.Go.FedEx). When the automated voice asks you what you're calling about, say "hold at fedex location". You will then be asked to enter your tracking number and then your address. If there is a fedex location near you, you will be given the option to drive to the location and pick up the package yourself (they will have it at the front desk for you). This is great for 2 reasons. First, you can usually pick the package up first thing in the morning (9:00am usually) so you don't have to wait around to sign for it all day. Second, the packages usually arrive a day or two before they ship them out on the trucks (most express packages ship the exact same way regardless of what shipping method you choose. Fedex just lists them as "not due for delivery" if you only paid for express saver for example).
You'll likely have to wait until Monday for the "hold at fedex location" option to be available to you. You can also do this online via the "customize delivery" button on your tracking information page but I've found that a lot of the locations don't show up using this.
