Carrier [Verizon Shipping Thread] Anyone get confirmation of a Verizon shipment yet?

Got mine, also in Tennessee. Memphis is the location of the FedEx main hub. So the phones probably just arrived there from China or were already sitting there waiting to go out. If you have UPS as your shipper it should be in Kentucky.

Because it says 2 day shipping AND is in Memphis, I have a feeling I will have it Tuesday. I'm in Pittsburgh, which isn't very far from Memphis.

Looking online to upgrade my device since I can't get access to my account password (long story)...

Shipping times for teh gold are 11/11. Silver is 10/7 and the grey is 10/28 ...
 
Order has been shipped! :D 32gb gold 3:02 EST delivery time is 9/25 4:30pm. I'm gonna try to pick it up at the post office tomorrow or Tuesday and see if I can get it a little earlier :)

If your phone is shipping via FedEx, call (1.800.Go.FedEx). When the automated voice asks you what you're calling about, say "hold at fedex location". You will then be asked to enter your tracking number and then your address. If there is a fedex location near you, you will be given the option to drive to the location and pick up the package yourself (they will have it at the front desk for you). This is great for 2 reasons. First, you can usually pick the package up first thing in the morning (9:00am usually) so you don't have to wait around to sign for it all day. Second, the packages usually arrive a day or two before they ship them out on the trucks (most express packages ship the exact same way regardless of what shipping method you choose. Fedex just lists them as "not due for delivery" if you only paid for express saver for example).

You'll likely have to wait until Monday for the "hold at fedex location" option to be available to you. You can also do this online via the "customize delivery" button on your tracking information page but I've found that a lot of the locations don't show up using this.

I bought the 16GB Silver through the Verizon website 3 minutes after midnight, and it still says "still processing." It's equal parts exciting and frustrating.

The box is greyed out right now because it's Sunday. Tomorrow you should be able to do it though. It's to the left of the purple box that says "request notifications", right above the travel history.
 
Gold 16GB, received email confirmation 11:59 PM. Tracking number posted for FedEx and ship date of 9/21. The Verizon website does not show the item I ordered like the image above--only the tracking number. I never received an email confirming shipment.

FedEx status shows ship date 9/22 11:21 AM Picked Up Memphis TN. Expected delivery in San Francisco 9/25 8 PM. Service: FedEx 2 Day, but I did not choose expedited shipping when I ordered.

SO EXCITED!

Got tracking number today, delivery for Wednesday before 4pm.

My order was completed a little after the 12:00am launch start time (3:00am EST.)
 
Sigh, nothing here yet. Has anyone with location code W779001 gotten a ship notice (i believe that is the So Cal area location code).

I'm in the L.A. area and got my shipped status early this morning. It says it will be delivered Wednesday by 8:00pm. With any luck it will get here tuesday. It seems all the phones shipping to the west coast are coming from Tennessee. :(
 
Gold 32gb, still processing with a shipment date estimated at 9/30. I ordered about an hour or two after pre-orders went up.
