Seriously frustrated with Verizon right now.
Placed my order for 16gb Silver 5s on Friday at 3am eastern. Received a text with order number and was told my order should be shipped on 9/24. I'm not the account owner, but I used the owner account (belonging to my family's business) to place the order, with my personal debit card. The order was flagged by the fraud department but I was not contacted. I called yesterday and the CS rep, after talking with the fraud department, said they needed to verify the account with a social security number. I hung up, found the social security number, and called back. This CS rep was useless and did not understand the situation. She told me that my order was cleared and my phone was being shipped. However, as of today, I still haven't been charged. Called Verizon again tonight and this CS rep was more helpful. He understood, but said that the fraud department was closed for the night. I argued that because the CS rep yesterday was at fault for not handling my order correctly, they should expedite my order. He said that he couldn't guarantee anything because of the high volume of orders, and some people are not receiving their orders until next month.
I woke up at 3am Friday to order my phone... I will be pissed if my order is pushed to the end of the line! I'm in a small town so I seriously could have gone to the store, but because of work, and being unsure what their supply would be, I figured online ordering would be the best way to go.
