Verizon site was smooth

Yeah it worked really well when I sneaked in an order for a 64gb Plus for launch. The pre-orders went alive about 5 minutes before 2am Central time.
 
Yea, Verizon launched a bit early, messed up but still managed to place the order in. :D

Now the site is really getting hit.

Verizon was actually up so you could order a little before 3.
 
Got it before 3AM & all the craziness that people seem to be experiencing now.

I received an email from Verizon @ 156AM saying I was eligible for an early upgrade with Edge & hopped all over it.

After 6 calls with customer service reps the past 2 days unsuccessfully being allowed to upgrade a month early, this happens. :cool:

I can't get them to even put me on hold. They keep saying they are open at 6am? Please help!

Finally seem to be on hold with them!

Email order confirmations seem to be a little lagged. I pre-ordered about 20 minutes ago and I just now received the confirmation. So if you haven't gotten one, don't worry about it too much yet.
 
Aren't they suppose to charge tax on the whole retail price of the phone? They only charged me tax on $299.
 
im so mad..i tried to order the 6 plus but I COULD NOT for the life of me find the 2GB $60 single line plan to order. It was trying to get me to buy the more anything for $100...fml now the ship date is like a week later (((
 
went smooth for me too. I was kind of surprised because when I did this for iPhone 5 verizon and apple site was getting hammer big time. This year it was a bit slower but everything went through smoothly.

Interesting how I saw the i6p 16gb delivery dates mid october but 19 sept for 64gb. :confused: Oh well. Best of luck to all.
 
Silver 64GB 6 Plus ordered a little before 3AM. Estimated delivery by next Friday, 9/19. Smooth as butter, although now I'm up late waiting for Apple.com to load up so I can get a case on the way, smh.
 
Yeah, I'm actually a little shocked at how fast and easy that was. Definitely expecting something to go wrong...

It did that to me at 2:58 too. That plan is unique and limited so they aren't pushing it. I immediately picked up the phone and called and got a rep right away. I placed my order with him and all went well. Heck, I even had to do the credit check and all that because I am new to them. Still made it.

So its just not even available there huh?? that's so messed up!!! I've been on hold FOREVER.
