Carrier Verizon Wireless 2019 iPhone Pre-Order Thread

My package was scanned at the Chicago (O’Hare) sort facility a couple of hours ago! Only 20 minutes away, but still have to wait until tomorrow. I called FedEx and they told me my estimated delivery window is showing between 11:20am to 3pm, which is the normal window in my area. *Fingers still crossed*

*sigh* I had gone back and forth on getting the new phones due to loss of the 3D Touch. Was already going to upgrade my mother’s phone as an early birthday gift since her xs max is having trouble with the earpiece and she has to take all of her calls on speaker. Got her the Gold 256 11 pro max.

But, for myself, I only finally pulled the trigger launch day when I went to a verizon store and played with one of the floor models. I still don’t like the haptic touch as it feels less responsive and button-like but the shortcut menus still pop up so at least it’s something... Went online and ordered her phone and ordered myself a SG 512 11 pro max.

Her phone is already on the way (initially scheduled for shipping on 9/27 but shipped 9/23 for wednesday delivery to my job).

Mine says expected 10/9 but really hoping it comes a lot sooner as I’ll be in NY for a convention between 10/1 - 10/6 and it would be nice to at least get a good chance to use the cameras while there.

Any likelihood it could ship sooner? I remember back during the X, I had a date 3 weeks after launch but it shipped two weeks earlier than expected so I only had a week wait
 
My confirmation email from Verizon says order date 9/16 and arrive by 10/2. I track it and it says order date 9/17 and ship date 10/2. Still in processing since 9/17. I was hoping to get bumped early , but it doesn't look like this will be the case for me ! =/

I was going to order on the 13th but didn’t end up pulling the trigger On a MG 64gb pro max until the 15th. I have a 10/2 date as well and haven’t seen any changes. From past experiences with these pre orders I’ve generally received the phone before that estimated date. It’s just a wait and see game.
 
A FedEx Ground truck just barreled down my block, barely stopped at the stop sign and kept going. Then he turned around in the cul-de-sac and hit the corner so fast, he was leaning over. I was ticked!

Five minutes later, FedEx Express pulls up ready to deliver an envelope. Uh, what? He says my order may be on the Ground truck. That driver is “special”, he says, and I may not see it until later today. Nooooooooo.

Luckily I looked at the envelope and it wasn’t our name or for our address. I let the driver know and he gives the “ooops face” before running back and getting the right delivery: My iPhone 11 Pro Max!

She’s here!!! And with plenty of time to spare!

when did you order? I ordered a pro max and got it at launch but just ordered a pro 64gb for my wife because her batter on her XS is awful. I have a 10/2 ship date. Hoping for sooner though
 
Seems Verizon tried to call me about payment for my order for my order for my phone and I didn’t see it until late. Gonna call first thing in the morning. Hopefully that means my phone is going to ship earlier than I thought
 
I ordered my 256 MG on the 22 and just got an e-mail saying it has shipped and will be here by Friday! It went a lot faster than I anticipated. I was expecting push back since my friend said they took the money out and then ended up refunding him the next day and now he has to wait longer.

What was your expected ship date when you first placed your order?

My boss planned to order a 64 gb SG Pro Max yesterday from the Verizon website.

Within 10 mins of her telling me that - she had one reserved at a local Apple store. She didn’t know the tricks. Since it was early morning the Apple stores had stock for same day pick up.

Has Apple ever been able to process business accounts in store? I want to say maybe years ago when AT&T was the only carrier, but not in recent years. I could be wrong with that though.
