Ok stupid question but how do I get the full raw file or video off of my iphone onto my mac?

I don't see an option through itunes.

I took an hd video off my iphone with iphoto and then dragged into onto my desktop.

I then uploaded from my desktop to youtube but it still came out very, very compressed. How do you upload it in HD?

Here is a video i posted that i took yesterday with my phone. I edited it today using iMovie.

Video Clip - 720p

Video Clip - 360p

Let me know what you think! It's simply a video of me in the passenger seat while my girlfriend drives down the road. But you can get a comparison of the two qualities as well.

For a phone, I think this is pretty good quality.

Yes, i was VERY impressed by the quality considering its from a phone and the size of the camera. It's definitely good enough quality that i can let my cameras sit at home now.

How many others will be replacing their video recorders and point and shoot cameras at home now and use their iPhones instead? I know i will! :)

Well it depends on what your point-and-shoot camera is. Mine are so much better than this, it is not even on the same planet. Not even talking about my DSLRs for photo. But for basic video/ take a photo of something irrelevant, I think it is great!

The video quality is good but it could use image stabilization.

Has anyone tried to run a video through OS X iMovies video stabilization?

here's an indoor clip of my 5 month old son having some fun:

Very happy with its quality - I will stick to HDSLR video for the majority of things, but this will definitely come in handy!

Anyone know how to shorten audio on a clip?

The video from the Engadget review switches from the soundtrack to sound from the recorded movie. (http://podcasts.aolcdn.com/engadget/files/walking_around.mov)

I can turn the audio off and on for each clip, but the song still plays over the top...

cheers!

*EDIT* realised that the music doesn't actually stop, iMovie just automatically turns the volume down, you can still hear it in the background, it's just not very noticeable in the Engadget clip.
