Sounds great! Can't wait to see it. Given that a new version is on the way, it seems safe to assume that the current version won't see more than bug fix updates from this point on. Which is fine since it's in pretty good shape as is.

Great game for the iPhone, lots of fun, except when you hit slow roll in career mode on hard level. Extremely unrealistic AI. 5 times I have played her and each time I get a 6 game head start.... 4 shots in total!! Sorry but that's a turn off. Make a game hard and challenging but making a game that you simply cannot win is just a bad idea. It might help if you actually got the default break off shot since she almost pots the winner on every break and if not she pots every other ridiculous angled shot on the table even from the worst possible snookers. Either give the player the default break off shot or make it a little more realistic otherwise its just plain boring since every other player on every other level is pathetically easy to beat. Shame...this could have been an all time great!!

Yes, our service provider is having trouble. It is supposed to be fixed today but then again... they said that yesterday. Sorry for your trouble. Yes... we will be changing providers.
Any chance of Speed optimizations on the iPad version, it's not as smooth as it should be.
Also, how about Retina Display support on iPhone 4 and Game Center on both?

We have a new version coming before Christmas that will have:
1) New physics engine (better simulation and you can jump balls)
2) New game types.
3) New Computer Opponents that play much, much more realistic.
4) New graphics engine that will support iPhone 1st up to iPhone 4 and iPad with variables levels of detail and texture sizes depending on display size and performance characteristics.
5) Improved Online play (we don't know if it will use Game Center or not. Please let us know what you prefer).

Sorry, but the existing version of Virtual Pool will remain basically the same as it is to support iOS2.2.1.
There will be a new product that will be iOS4 and up and will have GameCenter, Retina display, physics engine from the XBox version, new rooms, new game types etc, etc.
We are actively working on that now and hope to get it out by spring.
