MacBook Pro 2021! Silver or Space Gray?!

Question for those who have owned the "space gray" color:
How has it "held up" with usage and the passing of time?

I've always had the "plain aluminum" finish, seems to hold up reasonably well, but I'd like to try the space gray this time...
Not well, IMO. I had more little scuffs and scratches on my Space Grey 2016 MBP after one month than I did in three years of owning a Silver 2012 MBP.

Went to apple store to compare between silver and space grey. I am getting Silver this round after many years with Space Grey. The contrast between full black keyboard and silver casing just so cool.

I've had silver MacBooks for years and years, so now I'm changing things up and opted for darker silver, aka as space gray. Bit anxious about it, but then again, I was also anxious about changing to the SB iPhone 13 Pro after years and years of silver iPhones.

Just a heads up for those getting Space Grey, it comes with a silver MagSafe connector so it doesn't match.

After seeing today in person both colours, I'm very happy about cancelling the Space Gray and going for the Silver. It looks much better and classier imho.

Which skin you gonna use this time?
Titanium for cover, bottom and palm rest. It's pre-order for all new 14" and 16" skins with a ship date in November.

I actually prefer the look of the silver this time around, but still going for space grey.

There was a period of time where I had one of each (one work, one personal) and the the issue with the silver was the amount of light it reflected when out in the sun. The space grey reduced that to a decent degree.

These Youtubers (stream) below love the silver color. The contrast between the black keyboard and the silver stands out better and it just looks cleaner for some reason. There unboxing is interesting, goofy and hands-On answering questions from the viewers really take a long time. Must have patience with them

This is exactly why I went SG. First time going non-Silver! I want to deemphasize the black keyboard surround… but, to each their own! Not that I don’t like the black keyboard surround, I just think it is very “striking” against the silver, and would rather it blend in a bit more.

I like how easily the space grey blends with the keyboard, but I do have to admit that the silver also looks nice. I think I'll probably go space grey just because i like that midnight look to it, i like silver but with the powerbook-esque design of these new mbps, it looks a bit older with silver.

I have had 4/5 MacBook pros - the only silver one that I had was my first one in 2008. The rest have been space gray. I got tired of those micro scrapes on the edges showing lighter aluminum. I went with silver this time but that space gray is so awesome looking as well.

I've had Apple laptops going back to at least the Powerbook G3 (black plastic) and have shifted back and forth on color. I think the contrast with the black keyboard and the aluminum body this year looks very classy, but I went with SG this time around. Happy so far! Now, if there were an all matte-black aluminum? THAT I would buy in a heartbeat.

Silver, been using SG for the longest time so want to switch it up. Plus I want to go with Apple's classic colour

The silver is a nice color and a real throwback to the Unibodys. I like the color and will keep it.
