Sure seems to me like those of us buying off contract are getting pushed to the end of the line, which is kind of BS. I didn't want to order from Verizon anyway, only did because Apple's site wasn't working. Pretty lame and kinda shady from Verizon, but I've been with them long enough to know that's par for the course.


If that's true, it sounds like Verizon is taking care of its loyal customers first :p How is that lame or shady? The fact that you're buying off contract means you want to be able to just "up and go". They would call you the shady one :cool:
 
Oddly, I've seen some people who ordered the 6+ 64 GB Space Gray after me and received tracking numbers. I hit submit on my order at 3:10 AM EDT and received an email stating delivery by 10/7. I've seen instances where people ordered at 3:15 or 3:18 EDT and they have emails stating 9/19 and have tracking numbers. Maybe it has to do with Verizon pushing Edge orders first?

I placed my order right around the same time as you (I didn't check the exact time I hit submit, but I know if was really close to 3:10) for the same configuration and I have my tracking number. It's not an Edge order either.
 
ordered my iPhone 6+ 128GB space gray from VZW at 12:05 AM PST. Received email conformation at 1:15am PST. This whole time I have had the status your order is processing finally this 3:18am PST I got my Verizon Fedex Tracking number and link that works and my iphone 6+ 128gb space gray is in WEST CHESTER, PA and will be to me on 9/19/14 by 3pm!


it sounds like this guy is in CALI no east coast 128+ shipments yet but it is a great sign that means they actually have stock.. odds are we will ship tomorrow here on the right coast

I just got off the phone with them and she really took the time to look at my order but in the end said my delivery date of 10/14 was pretty solid for my 2 128 Plus models. :(
 
Anyone seeing anything that ordered a 6+ 16GB? My ship date is still unavailable after being at 10/14. Was at 10/14 when I got on verizon's website at 2:45 AM EST of preorder day. Not sure if any of us with the 16GB 6+'s will be getting theirs on 9/19.

Shipping confirmations posted in this thread have literally already proven that to be false. Anything provided by phone is non-information, considering how widely it varies.

And another supervisor told someone else they do have them just haven't got to distributing them yet and they are working as fast as they can go.

Someone else was told something similar to above.

Then another lady just posted she was told none of the 16gb will be delivered til the end of October.

Do you see a pattern here? not a one of them know what the hell they are talking about...lol
 
Anyone actually able to keep all this straight? 18 variations of the phone, what specific hour ordered, what order location, what shipping location, anticipated ship/delivery date and more! Enough to drive us all crazy! We are all going to be literally jumping in front of FedEx and UPS trucks on Friday! :)
 
Just got my tracking number for a 6+/128/gold/.
Order date was 9/12 12:09am PDT.
Order location W779201.
Charged my card around noon yesterday.

I'm a loyal customer but purchased "off contract" or full retail because I want to keep my unlimited data plan. If Verizon is using any other method than first come first serve, I will be annoyed. They should disclose this. Transparency with your customers and all that.

That Strategy is not going to work. I just came back from my Local Verizon store on a fact finding mission. Bottom line. they will not let you do it if you have a active pre order going. You will have to cancel you Pre order prior to going to the store.:mad: You'd have to know for a fact that the store has what you want in stock right on hand and cancel you preorder before you get to the counter.

Exactly the same for me. I ordered a 64GB Space Gray 6+ somewhere between 3:10 and 3:15, was told 9/19 for delivery when I placed the order. I didn't receive confirmation email until almost 5 am, which said 10/7. I assumed that they just went through supply very quickly or that the date got pushed out by the time I completed the order but the page didn't update, but now I'm seeing lots of people get shipment notifications. Still no movement on mine, no charge on the card, not even an authorization charge (I called Verizon to verify that my payment was accepted and was told that there were no issues and that it would be charged when it shipped).

I bought mine off contract (6+ 64GB SG) and received a tracking number yesterday morning. Ordered at 3:14 AM on 9/12.

So very disappointed in VZW with this whole process. The ECPD profile error screwed me royally and I'm stuck with a 10/14 ship date now.
 
I ordered a 128 silver 6+ from Verizon around 3:05 AM eastern. I got a confirmation email that says 9/19 delivery. When I'd check my status, it would say 10/14. But that is now "not available". I've received no charge, no shipping info and none of the checks I've made show any movement. I've been getting quite nervous.

I called a Verizon rep just now and she told me it was scheduled to ship tomorrow. Here's hoping {fingers crossed}

So fedex will not leave the package at my door. someone has to "sign" for delivery. Since i will be at work this is going to be a problem.
 
Preordered my IP6P early with Verizon by phone since their site was down. Throughout the order process, the delivery date kept changing. Started with delivery on 9/19 and ended with delivery set for 10/21!!!!! Representative never even told me...became aware of it through email confirmation.
Now, yesterday, CNN reported that Apple stores will actually have both new phone to purchase in their stores this Friday! WTH...those of us who preordered will still have to wait? Why aren't our phones being shipped FIRST?
Anyone with any additional knowledge, please comment.:mad:

PS....BTW, the order process took me over 4 hours!!!!!!

Verizon and Apple are working from separate initial inventories; you ordered with Verizon so your phone is not coming out of Apple's initial inventory.
