Besides from this random cancellation which may be for good reason, it looks like the gears are turning!

I spoke with a CS lady, who kept insisting I had initiated the order (which was not true.) And ended up saying she couldn't find any record of there even being an order in the system....which seemed odd as we had just been discussing the order. Ultimately, she wished me well & said I should try again, and that there was nothing Verizon could do.

SO I didn't cancel the order & didn't buy her excuse. So I called back & spoke with a gentleman who saw that my order had been cancelled, and said he thought it was probably a system issue, as he had handled four or five other ones today. He simply un-cancelled my order & said I should keep my place in line. SO relieved. If all goes well, he said it should ship tonight or tomorrow & get here 09/19 still. Taking it with a grain of salt, as the other reps have been all over the board with their explanations.

But he was very helpful and seemed to know what was up. He said I may receive a tracking code that may not work with FedEx, and to try it with UPS if that's the case.

So relieved. :eek:
 
It might be a UPS tracking number, what does it start with?

Unfortunately, it isn't an actual tracking number as far as I know. It seems to just be a link that takes me to the Fedex tracking page. It's a 10 digit number with 3 decimal points in it and it starts with the number 1.
 
Just an update

I ordered the following on Sept 12 at about 4:45am ET

1- iPhone 6 16 GB in Gold
1- iPhone 6 16 GB in Space Gray
1- iPhone 6 64 GB in Space Gray.

The order took no time and everything went smoothly. Put the whole thing on my Amex card.

The charge showed up as pending late on Saturday. Yesterday it shows as a purchase, dated Sunday, Sept 14.

My order now says sent for processing, and that shipping is by Sept 19. All I'm waiting for is the shipment notice and tracking number. Hoping that comes tonight or tomorrow morning. Already have a case waiting for my new handset!

Same location here. Also order 96xxx. Also 128GB SG 6 Plus.

My order has progressed and my card has been charged. Hopefully yours is moving along as well.

Again, no issues with the 6. Can still order and get on 19th for most models.
 
On a side note, how sad is it that I am now refreshing 5 tracking pages every half hour in an attempt to know the soonest where my iPhone is? Lol. Fedex, UPS, My Verizon, Verizon status tracking, and Verizon Iconic pages all open and constantly refreshed. Glad to see I'm not the only one impatiently awaiting my 6+.

First time I've called this number. The guy seemed to have a little more information than the other CS number.

Here's the problem... my pre-sale confirmation states delivered by 9/19. He states listed on my account both 6+ 64gb phones I ordered (right at pre-sale launch) are scheduled to be delivered on 10/7.

This is the first time I heard of my delivery date being changed... the other time I called, they said whatever is on my confirmation email.

He told me the actual shipping dates were not verified until 2 days after the pre-sale started.

I think it has more to do with when the order was processed at verizon. He said my order wasn't verified until 0532, over 5 hours after I placed my order. I wonder if that's why some are, without any logical sense, having their shipping dates pushed back and are not receiving tracking or billing confirmations.

What has turned into a 3 day wait has now turned into a 3 week wait! pissed!!

Guess I was wrong...

Honestly, there's still hope. Won't know until Thursday I guess. My 6+ case just got here. Gonna carry it around tomorrow (I know, sounds weird.) to see if it's too big or not. If it's too big, my 6 is about to ship and will be here Friday.

If it's not too big, then I will be waiting too.

I preordered my Iphone 6 16gb 09/12 5pm pst. I was billed yesterday and got tracking this morning via ups all looks great for 19th delivery :cool:
 
Ordered iPhone Plus 128gb space gray a few minutes before preorders were supposed to start. Received confirmation email at 2:59am EST. Order status had been showing that it was processing and no additional information was available for ship date. It never showed up in my Verizon either. It changed about an hour ago and now shows up in my account. It says it is processing and to check back tomorrow. In my verizon document section it shows equipment purchase but shows my order date at 9/16/14. Hopefully I'll get tracking soon.
 
My order status for my 128GB Gold 6 plus went from, "We received your order and it is in process." to "Your order is currently being processed, please check back tomorrow."

Someone please tell me this is a good thing lol. Supposed to get it on the 19th.
 
Here is another data point for you folks.
1. placed order around 3:10AM, EST, Friday
2. Received order on hold email 3:14AM, EST, Friday.
3. called verizon in the morning, first told I have overdue balance on my account, and then was told the balance was not in fact over due. credit department released the order.
4. Received order confirmation at 7:10AM, EST, Friday. This is for 2 ip6+ 64gb white, expected date 9/19/2014.
5. Received 2nd order on hold email 5:23PM EST, Monday. Called Verizon right away. Was told credit card declined. Provided new credit card number.
6. Received email verification for new account number at 1:36PM EST, Tuesday.
7. Received shipment notification 4:41PM EST, Tuesday.

Looks like I am getting the iphones on the release date after two order on hold emails. The original expected date from the order confirmation is accurate. You guys should take it easy and wait it out.
 
Verizon cancelled one of my orders, my 16gb iPhone 6 plus. For reasons, I don't know. Eh, it was a stretch anyway. It was an upgrade for someone who doesn't care about what kind of phone they have anyway. My other two 64gb iP6+'s are good
