Little update on how it's going with my canceled order:

So, when I ordered the first time, I got an e-mail saying I had to call them to complete my order. I finished this around 11:58. The lady said I could not fix that and had to re-order.

So I did. The order went through, got two confirmation e-mails, two for 10/7, and one for 9/19. What the hell?

I call them back and it turns out they fixed the original order, despite the initial Verizon Rep telling me to re-order the device. And they left the original order. I canceled the two 10/7. I call to make sure I am not missing any information several times, because they had mentioned to me that I had not accepted the terms and conditions.

Terms and conditions never came. I called again, they informed me that there was no pending terms and conditions and that my order was completed. I will get a tracking number when the device ships and the device will arrive 9/19. Ok. Cool. Order never showed up in myVerizon, status page only showed "We received your order and it is in process" and no expected ship date.

Fast forward to yesterday (Monday), I check my order status and it's canceled. WTF. Call them, calmly explain that I did not cancel my order. They agree and see no reason for cancellation and we come to a consensus that it was probably a system mistake.

They rebuild my order. I get an e-mail from an individual Verizon 'Specialist' saying that my order has been completed and that I will get a shipping number when the item ships. I inquire about a shipping address change. They say call back tomorrow when the order shows up in their system. I see this on myVerizon but not the order status page. Order status still shows canceled.

Call this morning. Apparently I have not accepted their terms and conditions. WTF. They say they resent the e-mail and to call them back in an hour. No e-mail. I call them back.

I explain what happens, nice guy immediately contacts his supervisor after making sure he understands the situation. Supervisor creates new order with new shipping address and notes that I have a "jump the line" request to get my old spot in line back. They resend the terms and conditions. I accept them. Verizon order status page still shows 11/4. I call again to verify that I will receive my phone on 9/19. Another rep tells me that she sees the jump the line request and I will most likely not get a ship date until 9/18, as it is probably going to be next day air.

On a side note, previously my orders were not showing up in my Verizon page, but now they do.

For all those people that said "don't worry, just don't think about it", I think in this case this does not apply. If I did not contact Verizon about my order status, I would have possibly never got my phone.

P.S. iPhone 6 Plus 64gb Space Grey. Ordered at 11:55 and located in Bay Area. No tracking number.

(Sorry this happened) but I'm glad I read this. Mine was cancelled and allegedly un-cancelled a while ago. Waiting for a confirmation email, but my status is still cancelled online. Beyond frustrating.

Card charged for full amount. No tracking yet, but my order is now showing under "My Orders". Date on the order says 9/16, but my guess is that is just what happens when they process the order.

I have to think they will be shipping mine on time since I have a charge for full amount.

Ordered placed 30 minutes after preorders started.

Update on mine- got a call from Verizon a few hours ago on re entering my card data- updated the data, card was charged, system reads 9/19 arrival date. Still waiting from a tracking number but I don't think their system updates till later this evening. Good progress. I ordered a 128GB 6+, gold.

So I've been through the entire cancellation/new order thing, and I have to say, I think it's all working out in the end. No need to panic, especially if they tell you the "jump the line" request is in.

My 6+/128/space gray order went in at 3:00:45am EDT on Friday (that's the time they quoted me on the phone) - but after the cancel and rebook, if I pull the new order # up in order status, it's showing 11/4.

Not to worry, that's basically a false reading.

Not only did they confirm on the phone that my "jump the line" request was in and done, but I've also had my credit card charged for the phone. I'll have a phone on Friday, of this I am 100% confident at this point.

It's just that nagging "11/4" that shows up in order status.

If I login to MyVerizon, under the Notifications Center, I have a "check status of recent order XXXXXXXXXX" showing up. Clicking on that, I get "Order Status: Your order is currently being processed. Please check back later."

It's all good, seriously. I'll have a phone Friday. I'm sure of that.

The process works... I said it before and I'll say it again - the internet orders team has their stuff together.

Relax, have a beer, and wait for Friday!

edit: PS - orders don't "un-cancel". New orders get created and then they re-prioritize you in line; you'll just have to get the new order number; that's why it's still showing as cancelled.
 
Glad to see 6+ 128 GB phones shipping, just wish mine (6+, 128 GB, space gray) was one of them.



Ordered at 3:11 am EST, confirmation email says 9/19. I called Verizon two days, ago, was told my CC will be charged when it ships and not to worry, I'll be getting mine on the 19th. I was also told to call tomorrow night if nothing happens by then. My order page is blank, and my pre-order has no delivery date available at this time. There is a $0 charge on my CC, but that's it.



My location code is D771101 - haven't seen too many (if any at all) reports of 128's being ready from that location.


Mine is from that location and same specs. Was just released. Seeing some action on the history page, order status and Amex charged.
 
Ordered on Friday (9/12), "We recieved your order and it is in process"

I ordered on Friday (release date) from a local Verizon Store. (16 GB 6 Black)
Originally it said (Delivered by: 10/7), but now it says "We recieved your order and it is in process".

I found it weird that right after I ordered from my store, the online store said that the phone alone online would be delivered by 10/7, but the option right below it, which is the bundle pack with a changer and case was available for 9/19.

Anybody with the same delivery status?

Do you have a 9/19 confirmation email? It appears as though yours will be processed and shipped for Friday. I had 10/7 in my email, so this is what I was/am expecting...but hoping it will come sooner (like everyone else).

My story is long. Lol. My email acutely had 10/21 but I have been on the phone many times to get that improved. I ordered at 2:14 Central. Something happened on Verizon's end that caused errors. I am hopeful that they taking care of it. Time will tell??????

Yes, it took several hours. I'm sure if you called Internet Orders, they could give you the new confirmation # over the phone - 866-338-7390. They texted me mine when I called with the same panic.

I'm telling ya - the Internet Orders folks got it goin' on! Good luck and enjoy your new phone on Friday.

I ordered mine on the 12th and i already have a shipping confirmation. Mine should be here the 19th!

I had a question about the trade in thing Verizon is doing with old iPhones. Even though I already paid/completed my order, can I still trade in my iPhone 4 for the gift card (of whatever it is worth)?? Or did it have to be done at the time of the sale?

Just go into a B&M store and trade it in. Gift card or account credit. You decide.
 
Everything is scheduled for Friday 09-19-2014 for delivery by UPS. Yet I work,so I need to leave a note to deliver to my Condo complex managers office(who will accept package). Should I not be home in time. Crossing my fingers.

Ordered a 6 64gb at 9:30 am Friday after a frustrating experience with AT&T

Online sales reps keeps saying that it's "being packed as we speak" (although she didn't even look at my order number)

Unfortunately, I have no other way of checking as this is a new line with VZW. For 2 days my order screen says "check back tomorrow" and I've been charged already.

Not too worried, but if anything happens like it did with att then I'll have an issue.
 
Let's take a poll. Whom here has made the most bogus excuses (like checking credit card validation or claiming needing an order number) in order to bug VZW for order updates through chat or phone calls in order to attempt to get some reassurance that their phone will be their Friday so the moon doesn't fall out of orbit and we all perish?

Same with my iphone 6 space gray 128gb ordered @12:35 AM Friday. I'm not worried, it'll likely move tomorrow or Thursday. Plenty of time to be delivered by 3:00 PM Friday 9/19 like it says...

Got my case today. The 6 is big, can't imagine carrying a 6+ but that's just me. Many many others really like the 6+

Just got a charge on my credit card and my order status has finally changed from "processing" to "check back tomorrow".

I ordered a 128gb SG iP6+ and a 64gb iP6 in SG. Never been so happy to see $800+ leave my bank! Haha

There is hope folks, just be patient!
 
I'm really hoping the plus models of the 64GB Space Gray phones ship out in mass soon. My order was officially completed @ 310am eastern on the 12th, yet I got a delivery date of 10/7, which definitely tweaked me a little. Anyone with this model get a tracking number yet?

Yes, you can still sign up through 9/30. Just ensure that you hit the button that you are/have purchased a 6 and it will increase the end value to $200. From what I have read, just ensure that the phone number that you have upgraded is the number you put on the registration form so it ties back to your account.
