im d771001 and I got charged and changed to order sent for processing. I don't see how you could be much closer than me, I'm in nassau county on long island new york.

When you pre-ordered, what was the ship date, 9/19 or 10/7?

My Shipping Label Has Been Created. Just Checked The UPS Website & My Order is Ready For UPS :). Any Idea When It Will It Ship From UPS ?
 
The next step would be "your order has been sent for processing" or "your order is processing. Your shipping details will be available soon" or there are a few variations depended which of the 3 or 4 order trackers you are using.

I'm using my preorder # on the VZW site. Just says......We received your order and it is in process
 
SPOT ON. If there were real, honest-to-goodness system issues, then I have no issue with folks requesting a jump.

Bear in mind that they WILL check your history and WILL see when you logged in, when you placed the order, when it errored out, etc... so be honest.

If you have an honest problem, they WILL take care of it.

Contrary to popular belief, VzW is not an evil company... they really do care, and really do try. Not always perfect, not by a long shot, but the folks there are not evil. They care.

My 90 minute payment system snafu caused them to do it for me without me even asking. They offered it. I had called asking about availability of OtterBox cases and got into a convo with the rep about his preorder and told him what happened to me and he got a supervisor on the line and I was offered the bump without me asking for it. I was pleased with the service and willingness to fix an error on their end.

The ECPD errors occurred for EVERYONE.

Therefore, no orders were coming in while ECPD was broken.

Therefore, did you really lose your spot in line?

No, not really.

That error most certainly did not occur for everyone. It prevented me from completing my order until 4:49am which is much later than others I've seen post here with tracking numbers.

How do you suggest they bump hundreds of thousands of people with phones that Apple did not supply them with? The error you are talking about affected everyone. My order went in before that error you spoke of even started thankfully.

Beware, I got a confirmation e-mail and they said I was still missing terms and conditions, which is why I had to recreate the order and jump the line (not rebuild the previous order). I called after I did not receive the e-mail, and the second rep told me that there was nothing pending and that I was good to go. Called another rep an hour later, said hey, can you make sure I don't have a terms and conditions pending? Sure enough, I did.

It was only after they recreated the actual order than I ever saw anything on the order status page (now instead of saying shipping date is unavailable at this time, it says ships by 11/4, which I believe is inaccurate).

I'm assuming you ordered with EDGE, just make sure you accepted a terms and conditions at some point through e-mail or phone. In my previous post I stated that I believe this is why our orders are getting canceled.
 
I ordered mine on the 12th and i already have a shipping confirmation. Mine should be here the 19th!

I had a question about the trade in thing Verizon is doing with old iPhones. Even though I already paid/completed my order, can I still trade in my iPhone 4 for the gift card (of whatever it is worth)?? Or did it have to be done at the time of the sale?

The trade in is done online it's the trade in trade up promo but has to be done online before the 30 and ship within x amount of days of receiving new phone

I logged in at 256 (eastern time) and placed my order. The error that affected most people started a lil after 3 I believe (was suppose to go live at 301) my issue was seperate from that one.
 
Let's take a poll. Whom here has made the most bogus excuses (like checking credit card validation or claiming needing an order number) in order to bug VZW for order updates through chat or phone calls in order to attempt to get some reassurance that their phone will be their Friday so the moon doesn't fall out of orbit and we all perish?

I told them that my dog had just died and I needed good news. They're sending me an apple watch.
 
For some weird reason I think they will deliver some early. They did before. Does Apple really wanna see another problem with all these iPhone activations?

Theres Always Incorrect Information Or Mistakes Made In The System. Don't Know What To Believe.
 
When I got my iPhone 5 it took hours to activate it. I remember being unable to get on the network for a better part of the day.

I had the same problem with my 5s. Bought it at my local Apple Store and they couldn't get it to activate. Tried new SIM cars - same result. Tried a new iPhone - same result. We finally determined there was a glitch in Verizon's system. Buying the phone outright, at full retail with no effect on my contract, threw their system into a tailspin. Thankfully the carriers all had reps at the major Apple Stores. This woman from Verizon was like a demon possessed. She wouldn't let go of my problem until it was sorted, which was more than 4 hours later. But in the end I walked out with a perfectly functioning iPhone 5s. :D

My Estimated Delivery Date Said 9/18/2014 #? Is That Accurate Lol ?

When I first got my tracking number my estimated delivery date was also 9/18. About a day later the system had corrected itself and it changed to 9/19. Has said 9/19 ever since.
