I call BS on that article...

(Still no tracking # either)

Not checking my status again. Been like this since I crawled out of bed Friday morning at 3 am to preorder. Business site was a nightmare of crashes. First time I haven't received my preorder on launch day. :mad:

Even if the article isn't true, I'm totally :cool: with my phone coming on the 20th. It's the weekend and I'm home anyway. At least I won't have to chase the truck all over town to the distribution center if he were to stop by during the week while I'm at work and miss him! :rolleyes:

9/12 -- 3:05 am - I had my 6+ 64 gb gold phone ordered.
My confirmation email arrived at 4:15 am showing a 9/19 delivery.
Friday 9/12 through Sunday night 9/14 no more emails and when I checked my order status through the original email link (using the preorder confirmation number), it said my order was processed but shipping information was not available at this time. It stayed that way until Sunday night. When I went on MyVerizon, it said I had no orders.
Sunday night I checked MyVerizon again and my order showed up – but no real details. Monday morning I checked again and it said my order was placed 9/14, gave me a UPS tracking number, said it will be shipped 9/18 via “UPS 2nd Day Air – 4PM.” A bit screwed up on the dates. When I clicked the link for “complete order details” it showed my correct order date of 9/12 and the same info above.
I got a shipment notification email Monday at noon that showed a delivery date of 9/19 via UPS. When I clicked on the tracking numbers it said it was invalid/no record of that tracking number. I checked MyVerizon, order details, and it had changed to “ UPS 2 BUS DAY SVC BY EOD” with a Shipment Date: 09/14/2014 and Status: Your order has been shipped. A few hours later I checked MyVerizon again and it said I had no orders. It came back later that night.
Today (9/16) I clicked on the tracking number around 11:00 am and it changed to “a shipping label has been created” and now shows shipping via UPS Next Day Air Saver. Shipping/billing date is 9/18.

UPS now says my phone is in Jacksonville, FL. It is on it's way down!
 
Shipping Notice!

Just got my shipping notice for my 6+ 16gb space grey. My original email confirmation said 10/14.

Yeah the long spread between dates is rather odd. Hopefully those dates start to improve as production on the 6+'s is ramped up.

Ordered 3:03am Friday 9/12.

Until this morning order was "processing" with "delivery date unavailable at this time".

One hour ago my card was charged and my order updated with a FedEx tracking number.

Phone shows picked up in West Chester, PA. Being delivered to me in Buffalo, NY.

Phone will be right on time with a Friday delivery.:apple:
 
Wala - tracking # is posted in order status this morning ... Didn't get an email yet but I expect it soon.

Patience folks - I see lots of people complaining about how bad this is and we're still 2 days away from the earliest possible date for people to get their phones.

All's well that ends well ...
 
Got my tracking number for my Gold iPhone 6+ 128gb. On schedule for delivery this Friday before 3pm EST.

Yeah but many of us that ordered the plus have no realistic chance of receiving them Friday.
