VZW Order Status Thread

W00t mine just shipped!

I preordered my iPhone 6 in Gold 64GB on 9/15 at around 11:30pm.

Just got the shipment confirmation email 1:09am central on 9/17. It's shipping via fedex!

interesting.. mine original email said delivered by 10/14.. I check online status and it said shipped by 9/19.. what to trust..
 
one thing I hate about this is that according to my preorder notification email I got it already gave me a cellular phone number but upon calling vzw to check my order they said that the number belongs to another person and they are unable to view my account due to that. Even the SSN number is not letting them in.
 
My order has completly gone through for a 128 iPhone 6 Plus Gold, I have my tracking number, and my credit card has been charged, the charged has cleared my account, the only thing, they only charged me $529.99 (less tax) my invoice stated $605.98 so for some reason I got a $76 discount. Anyone else got their phone with free tax for no reason?

I mean now that the charged has posted, and the phone is basically just waiting for delivery with UPS, I guess its possible but doesn't seem likely that I will get a separate charge for the missing sales tax. WOOT! 🙂

It has been going around since Saturday that the iPhone 6 Plus' aren't shipping until 9/18. Weather you believed it or not was a different story, but thats what I was told too on Saturday by a VZW Supervisor. I even made a post about it.

This is what you get right before it gets populated with a tracking number. I wouldn't worry. When you wake up today you should have a tracking number in the status area you posted a screen shot of.

You know Verizon took 1 million pre-orders. Pre-Orders opened at 2:55am EST. Its anybody's guess how many were ordered in the first 15 minutes. But I see many people getting 10/7 dates at 3:05am (10 full minutes after the doors opened).

1 million pre-orders, and im sure there were a TON in the first 10 minutes.

From what I can tell in the article, apparently Verizon will deliver all phones by 9/19 or 9/20. Sounds spoofy to me. Does anyone know anything about this?

9/20 is a Saturday, so its either 9/19 or 9/22 as far as I know VZW doesn't offer Saturday delivery.
 
Wednesday morning and still nothing. I ordered 2 iPhone 6+'s. The confirmation email says 9/19/2014 but the order status still says we are processing your order and the estimated delivery date is unavailable at this time. The location code it is shipping from isn't far from me though. (Only about an hour and a half)

Any words of encouragement or suggestions?

Day 5: wife and kids left. They don't understand the struggle. 🙁

Been charged since Sunday night. Still says "please check back tomorrow" since Sunday. No shipping email, no TOS email, new account, so no actual phone number yet, and can't trust verizon CSR lol

Same with me. Advice: Relax, it works out just fine for 99% of people year after year.

But my original deliver by date of 9/19 order was cancelled and pushed back to 11/4 due to "payment issues". They supposedly "prioritized" my order so that I'd still receive it 9/19, but I'm not counting on it. My expected ship date is still 11/4 on the status checker.😡 Edit: Oddly enough, I have a pending hold on my card for the full amount. So hopefully, my status will change or I'll get a shipping email tomorrow or Thursday.

Well lucky you. My actual deliver by date is 11/4 because I had to order a few days late since my upgrade wasn't available yet.

And even better, someone else on my account used an upgrade to get a 6... If I had used it to get the 6+ a few days earlier and then they used the few days late upgrade we would probably both have our phones on 9/19 because of the lower demand for the 6.

I ordered my phones early in the morning on the 12th, my credit card was charged on Sunday, yet, I have nothing but "It's in processing."

Ship date still says the 19th, but no tracking, etc.

Mine was that way until late Tuesday afternoon. Then I was charged and my order processed and it says check back tomorrow. My second phone still says expected ship date not available at this time. They were ordered only minutes apart. There is still time. If Amazon can ship a package from the west coast to Pennsylvania overnight, VZW can certainly do the same thing!

I shipped mine to my office so that someone was guaranteed to be there to sign for it. If it ends up being 9/20 I'm screwed as the office is closed on the weekends. Had I known this I would have shipped it to home. I guess I might be able to pick it up at the distribution center.

Having said that, I think we've got some circular reporting going on here. The article references a Macrumors insider.
 
So just got off the phone with someone (quite sexy sounding too) who said that although online it shows "check back tomorrow", that it's been shipped. They can't charge you for so,etching you won't be getting, but they just have to wait for fedex to give them the tracking number. I guess this means vzw sends the order to apple, and apple sends them out for vzw. Vzw does not have them and ship them internally. She said all tracking numbers should be updated by 4:30 est.

I asked them on Twitter and they said I could trade it in via the store. Getting $200 for my iPhone 4 is pretty awesome.

My pre-auth charge of $1.00 disappeared from my credit card's pending charges section. Expected Ship Date is still....Not available at this time. 🙁
 
enjoyed reading some of the posts in this thread. Got some pretty excited people waiting for their new iPhones!😉

Here is an update on my order. 🙂

Went online Sunday night (September 14th) and ordered the iPhone 6 space gray, 128 gb through the Verizon website. Yesterday, I saw that I received a tracking number with UPS stating that they received my shipping label and once they have the product they will update my shipping status. l should be getting my phone this Friday 😀

I attached a screenshot of my order update from the Verizon website. This is my first preorder. Might do it again with the next big iPhone hit, who knows!
