We want our phones due to the need for instant gratification but life will go on if we don't get them friday. Mine hasn't shipped yet either. I'm going on vacation this weekend and whether I have the phone or not I am still going to enjoy my week away. It is a phone being delivered to me and not my first born child. If it comes great, if not it will get here eventually and life goes on. My iPhone 5 works just fine until then. Hakuna matata!

Ordered yesterday morning and received tracking # this morning. Via FedEx (blech), but there is absolutely no mention of signature required. VZW told me there is no required signature either. I 100% will not be at home at time of delivery due to a funeral. Think Im good just letting it be dropped off with no one there? Or, should I arrange pick up?
I am D772001, ordered 6+ 128 Silver within first 5-7 min of presale on Verizon. I'm in the Baltimore area and mine still says "We received your order and it is in process. Expected Ship Date: Not available at this time." My initial email notification, which came in to me at 4:33 AM (approx 1.5 hours after I placed the order) said it would be delivered by 9/19. I even called my credit card to give them the heads up. I'm praying it gets charged tomorrow and I get a tracking number tomorrow. We shall see...I just can't believe I'm seeing all these people getting shipping notifications and charges, and I have nothing at this point except that initial email. I've tried calling a few times but it's the same answer every time - it's in process and once my card is charged, I'll get a shipping notification. Hurry up please!!!
Interesting...i'm in DD772001 as well and ordered the same model, and have had the same process (9/19 on the email, ship date not available on the order tracker). I guess it's something with our order location AND that model...hoping we get some movement today...

Sweet, just got my UPS tracking number for my 128GB and 64GB Space Grey plus phones. Location code is N211401 (Southern Illinois). My date was always supposed to be 9/19, but I admit I was starting to get a little nervous.

Mine's been scanned in as "at fedex location" about five times this week in the same fedex location. You would think that for a future shipment they would get it to the local delivery hub as quick as possible, then hold it there, rather than holding it far away til the last minute and hoping there are no issues completing the delivery.

They keep them in pallets at major distribution centers so they don't get lost in the fray at local hubs. You are better off with them remaining where they are until Thursday/friday final movement.
Any 10/7 Email confirmations get a tracking number for the 6+?
Also I have the Note 3 now and had the Note 2 previously and I dont think I could ever have a small phone. Girlfriend has the S4 and that was "too small" for me. Im average size with average hands, cant palm a basketball or anything like that.

gee and to think my girlfriend is always telling me that size doesn't matter.
I seriously doubt that Apple is shipping units for Verizon. If that was the case our shipments would not be originating at US hubs and would instead be coming from China like the apple.com orders. Verizon received their allotment of phones to their warehouses, some of which have been allotted to fill pre-orders and the rest have been allotted to the retail stores for sale.
