Appears the FedEx deliver by time changed from 3PM to 8PM for tomorrow

Edit: can someone tell me how I can enable the pre-sign option? Or is there a link to a FedEx pre-sign form someone may have? Thanks!

Call Fedex -- and if you find out, let everyone else know! The fine print at the bottom says if an option is greyed out, it is not available for this shipment, so good luck!

On my verizon order status, it says "shipped" since tuesday with a tracking number. However, when I track it with UPS, it says tracking label generated but nothing else and shipping with next day air.

Will I still get it tomorrow? VZW only generates shipping labels if they will ship my iPhone/have it in stock, correct? :apple::)

You'll still get it tomorrow... Check back tomorrow and your status will be "Out for Delivery".

Ok, that's fine, however what about my other question of how do I print out FedEx's pre sign form?

If you go to Customize My Delivery it will show you the options such as Hold for Delivery, Sign for Delivery, etc. On my tracking page, those options are greyed out for my phone shipment and the fine print says if it is greyed out, it is not available for this package. I'm working from home tomorrow, so it doesn't matter for me, but you could call fedex to determine whether or not they are truly accepting indirect signatures for the phones.

Indirect signature required = leaving a note on the outside saying you authorize delivery and for them to leave it. Good enough, no need to print out a special form (at least in every time I've done it)

All of you guys thinking of going to a local store on launch day, be prepared to pay full price for the phone. you have to have canceled you preorder 48hrs prior to going to your local verizon. So do some due diligence before you go. I'm just going to t wait it out. :( This will be the last pre order fiasco I will ever do. IMHO the iPhone 6 Plus SG should of been greyed out in the preorder cue once they ran out.. My 12:35 am 91XXX order # didn't buy me squat.

Unless there was a change since last year, I'm not sure if that's true.

Last year I was able to cancel my preorder right before buying the phone at Best Buy (using the same upgrade/line that was used for the preorder) without any issues.

Update on order

Update on my order: I GOT MY TRACKING NUMBER!!!!:apple::apple::apple::cool::cool::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::D:D:D

Wondering if someone can give the real scoop. Ordered and received email confirmation on 9/12 around 4:03pm EST. Order Number 30xxx. Have not been charged on credit card and Pre order shows received order in process.

How can someone help without phone model? Delivery date stated during checkout and in email?

(2) iPhone 6 16GB Gold

I believe that was an offer generated before the ordering even started to encourage you to continue your relationship with Verizon. Similar to the $200 trade in for phones even as old as the iPhone 4. I received that 1GB add'l credit right when I placed the order at 3am ET on the 12th:

1 GB Additional Data for a limited time Free
iPhone 6 Plus 16GB Space Gray - 1 GB Additional Data.
1GB BONUS DATA/MO FOR 2 YRS Expires 09/12/2016

You already get that with More Everything..

I would assume then that my order finally went through if I never saw that before on my other two orders?

Don't hold your breath for by 3pm - Verizon's site claims the shipping was UPS Next Day Air 3pm delivery, but the actual tracking number they provided is the UPS Next Day Air Saver product, which delivers by end of day. We'll see tomorrow which one it is...

I'm okay with that, as long as I know it's coming tomorrow.

Verizon threw in 1GB/m of free data for two years because of all of the problems.

Didn't expect to see that.

They did that for everybody. I ordered at 3AM ET on 9/12 when there were zero problems and got it.

on the phone with VZ now. will update.

FYI: The Jump The Line thing is a LIE!!!

Just got off of a long heated discussion with their manager..

She advised that once the order is placed there is NO WAY to change when you will get your phone.

Needless to say that I was not a happy customer...

The person that I spoke to yesterday left VERY vague notes...

They wouldn't give me any credit for the rep lieing to me....and the manager was pretty rude.

So...what did they say?

that the preorder doesnt become anything until it gets to the warehouse...and thats not going to happen until 10/7. i literally had another guy tell me on tuesday the phone has gone through "fraud" and was being packaged.

its so annoying that with UPS people can have there iphones held for pickup at a UPS location. I am working tomorrow and would really like if I could just go to a FedEx designated location and pick it up. If for some reason they try to deliver it tomorrow and I am not there, can I quickly change the address to have them deliver to a FedEx location on saturday or would Monday be the next option.

This is a promotion that they've has since before the iPhone preorders. Everyone re-upping their Verizon contract who got an iPhone 6/6+ and has at least 1gb of data on their plan will get this promotion of 1 extra gb for 2 years.
