VZW Order Status Thread

Verizon Status

Was up at 2:30am EST on pre-ordering day. Tried ordering on the Apple site and phone app for hours in NH but eventually gave up around quarter of 5 and ordered through Verizon instead. Got a 128GB Black iPhone 6 and a 64GB Black iPhone 6 without a problem.

It quoted 9/19. I check status on FedEx a few days ago and it said guaranteed delivery by 3:30pm. Now it says by 8:00pm.

It says on Truck in Londonderry at 7:39 am. Shipments usually arrive around 1-2pm. Sometimes a little earlier or sometimes a little later.

Last year I ordered from Verizon and one of the screens was broken. I went to Verizon but they said they are all sold out and I said you don't have any for people who pre-ordered but you gave a defective device? They said no and they won't until the following month. I drove around to multiple stores as well as talking to phone support. I tried one of the Apple stores and the guy at the front said they couldn't help. Called Apple though and they were helpful and gave me a store to go to and they had a new one waiting for me there. FedEx typically delivers things in the bushes or outside in the rain even though their are signs saying leave at front door. UPS always delivers at front door (Which is covered). So a bit scared FedEx is delivering and got from Verizon instead of Apple but hopefully all will be ok.

I just called FedEx and they said my package will still go out today. Since it's overnight, if it misses the first truck it will go out on the next one. So I'll still get it, just later than if it had gone out on the first truck.
 
Last update was departed fedex location in Indianapolis, coming to Albuquerque, NM. That was about 8 hours ago. This is starting to look bad isn't it?

I'm guessing there is a supply shortage because I honestly didn't expect the 6+ to outsell the 6.

we ordered 2 128GB 6+s on the 12th...est ship date is 10/28 :(

Update: Just rechecked VZW now they are saying 10/24!

For those in the Cincinnati area thinking about trying Verizon stores for a plus, forget it. I stopped by one this am and was told only a few stores got them and they are sold out. they dont expect new stock for months
 
FedEx tracking is really laggy - about an hour behind for me. Out for delivery at 7:52 this am and it didnt updated til like 9am
 
My tracking hasn't updated since 4:12pm yesterday, saying it's at a sorting facility two hours away from me. Thought it would've departed there by now or at least say out for delivery (7:10am here).

Don't worry! Same with me and mine updated not to long ago now at a facility 30 minutes. But there's no it left the other place tracking. Odds are the system is overwhelmed right now!

I just checked and they updated it to say
expected delivery of today and that it's on time. And they wonder why no one wants to ship anything with USPS.

I ordered through Verizon, just like I did for the iPhone 5. It came fedex for that. I don't know why everyone got fedex or ups and I got lame USPS. I can't stand them either, husband works there and tells me how unreliable they are.
 
Out for Delivery

iPhone 6 Plus Out for Delivery on FedEx truck. Waiting......

Pre-ordered 3:06AM EST on 9/10
 
Cancelled my pre-order, got in line at Verizon at 7am, got the last 2 64gb Plus' they had (space grey and gold). It helps to be in a small town. Now time to play around with it! Good luck to everyone today!:apple:
 
I think for the people who ordered the bigger version they might ship theirs earlier than posted. Only reason I am saying that is because that's been the trend with them years prior. I ordered the 6 Plus 128G model and was quoted October 14 for shipping. But it might come earlier than that idk

I think you'll start to see a lot of October deliveries begin at the later part of next week.
 
Had a 10/14/14 delivery date due to webpage issues on preorder day.

Took a detour past my VZW store this morning on the way to work. The line was very short, so at about 7:45 I got in line (#22) and walked away 45 mins later with a 6 in hand (64g/black).

The 6+ (which I originally had on pre-order) had an awesome screen, but after about 30 seconds it became clear I could barely hold it one-handed, let alone try to use it. I might regret that decision at some point, but for now the 6 is awesome.

** not sure if all VZW stores are doing this, but they were offering $200 off iPads w/ iPhone purchase + $200 trade-in for my iPhone 5. Ended up also buying an iPad Air for my wife for $330 (32gig). Awesome deal.

the 6 Plus isn't outselling the 6, it just appears that way because the supply of it is much more limited.There is a combination of things effecting supply. The yield on the displays for the 6 Plus are much lower the 6. Reports are putting it at about 50-60%. I think they also underestimated the initial demand for the 6 Plus, and had the ratio of 6 to 6 Plus to far towards the 6. They are producing 140,000 6 Pluses a day and 500,000 6's. I suspect that they have the ratio for overall sales pretty spot on, but that kind of people that preorder or wait in a line on launch day are more likely to get the 6 Plus than the general population.

You might be right about that lol I'm remaining hopefully but hey I have mine in so either way I'm good. I now need to find a good case. Something that will protect it but something that has a slim design. I don't want to add more bulk to an already bulky phone lol
 
Both my gold and space grey 6's are on the truck for delivery, but my 6 Plus was moved ahead to 10/3--hoping that it comes at the end of next week or before I leave for my buddy's wedding in Mexico on the 2nd.

I went to the Apple store in Grand Central this morning before work and they didn't open it up until 9:15. I just wanted to buy cases for my girlfriend, mom, and dad.

When I got in I was able to handle both the 6 and 6 Plus and I do have to say they are pretty incredibly built and feels amazing in hand. Really happy I bought the 6 Plus. Feels WAY better than the Galaxy Notes that Samsung put out.

I think we are all going to be satisfied with our purchases and will laugh at all the craziness that has been going on in these 200+ pages.

I believe courier dispatch means just that. Someone who might help out on that route may be utilized to get more packages out so they're delivered on time.

Anyway, out for delivery since 8:06am this morning. Delivered by 8pm. Central Jersey, just outside of Staten Island.

Thought about doing that as well however my new date is 10/3, which is the beginning of my next billing cycle.

So even thought I would love to get it earlier, it may work out better since I went to the edge plan.
