Apparently I'm upgrading just in time because the SIM card in my 4S has failed twice already today. And shush anyone who says to just get a new SIM card!

--- mines said the same thing, so I just called FedEx and they said it will still come today, they just changed the delivery time till 9pm. Don't worry, you'll most likely get it today.
I'm sitting at work refreshing the FedEx page waiting to see "DELIVERED"

Probably the latter. If I had a 6 coming today I wouldn't be in this thread. The 6 Plus is backordered because of low supply and that causes chatter.
I literally got woken up to the knock and door bell ring from the FedEx man, I was sleeping and then I heard a loud knock on the door and a doorbell, Me with my hurt leg (still recovering from ACL surgery) I knew i had to jump out of bed and go get that before he left somehow lol, i woke up from deep sleep instantly with adrenaline and I got my iPhone 6 wooooTt! FedEX said it would deliver at 8:00 pm today but i knew that was BS, i just didnt know when, GOOD MORNING TO ME!
I have a couple of AR15's and still have my military issue plate carrier with soft armor and SAPI plates. I think an armed standoff isn't the best idea. LOL
I had a little bit of a scare this morning on hubby's phone. As of 7:46 am it was at a sort facility in Greer, SC. Hello, we live in Asheville, NC! Must have flown into GSP instead of AVL. Anyway, it arrived in Asheville at 10:33 am and went out for deliver at 10:45. Hopefully he gets it soon as we need to leave this afternoon!
For my, my 6 Plus finally updated from not available to shipping 10/7. Got up this morning and lined up at our Verizon store at 5 am. I was actually number 5 in line! Walked in at 8 and walked out with my 128 GB gold 6 Plus at 8:30! The guys who were numbers 1 and 2 had been there since 8 yesterday, number 3 since 10 and number 4 since 1 am. The first two guys got 128 GB Plusses, number 3 got a 64 GB Plus and number 4 got a 64 GB 6. At number 5, I got their last 128 GB plus of any color and they didn't not have a 64 GB gold. I was lucky! Also got a $200 gift card for an iPhone 5 with a failing battery so I'm pretty happy right now!

Mine says 8pm. A couple of days ago it said 3:30, but switched yesterday to 8pm.
And quite silly. People are even calling UPS / FEDEX now as if they can't handle their job.
Delivery by 4:30 for me too. I called fedex and they said the driver would give me a call when suppose to arrive. I'm trying to leave town and waiting on stupid phone.

People tend to be more vocal when they aren't getting what they want.
Considering there are probably 5 times or more the amount of iPhone 6 units being sold today than Plus unit.
