among the waiting dead...edge thoughts
So waiting as well (currently the est ship 10/3 crowd). In another post someone mentioned their edge install agreement inserts were on their bill...mine too..thankfully, according to the agreement you don't start paying until the device ships, so if the dates slip then the schedule gets adjusted. Couldn't stomach paying for a device I don't have in hand yet.

It could also be the slow trickle from those who cancelled pre orders for in stores pickups and now that inventory is going out, hope I'm wrong and it's the start of the next wave.
It appears to me from reading everyone's experiences with shipping that supply for the regular 6 is starting to shake loose. The 6+, however, is still a tough nut to crack.
Anybody notice that the overwhelming majority of people waiting in lines are Chinese? I do not live in a particularly high Asian population area, yet they are ALL coming out for the iPhone. They're still getting $4000 a pop for the 6+ in China so this is big business if you have Chinese connections.

I was a 10/07 ship date then changed to 10/03. I got a tracking number today with an estimated delivery of 09/25. I ordered an iPhone 6+ 64gb Gold.
However, I got the same phone from Apple store Saturday morning so will be sending the one on its way back to Verizon.

My pre-order for the 6+ was scheduled to ship 10/24. I reevaluated my needs and changed it to the regular 6 just yesterday, and my ship date is now 10/3. I'm hoping it will get bumped up from there. 
My Documents and Receipts don't even have the EDGE contract in it yet. It just has all my previous receipts in there.
Update, called Chase and sure enough they had placed a hold on the purchase and hadn't even gotten around to notifying me but luckily Verizon notified me right away. I got Chase fraud dept to remove hold and then had to call Verizon back to process the charge. Now my bank shows the full charge is pending so hopefully that means that the setback didn't mess with my shipping date too much? Or is it like I just placed the order ugh!!There is no info available right now
Looks like the second wave is starting to kick in. I ordered an iphone 6+ SG 64gb 15 min after it opened. This is new line transferring over from Sprint. Didn't get my order confirmation email until 4am central on 9/12 (email had a 10/7 ship date). No news until last friday when it bumped up a few days to 10/3. This afternoon my card was charged and I now get a tracking number when i track my preorder. Anticipated Ship date 9/23 via FedEx 2day. In case you are wondering, location number is N211601.
From what I'm reading, I'd say it looks pretty good for the rest of the "second wavers". Should be getting updates soon about your orders.

yup 10/7 charged last night shipped today, that was originally ordered shorty after 3 on 9/12 cancelled, "jumped line" recancelled promised 9/1. picked up at local verizon on 9/19 instead. i will have to return this one
quick update. Order status shows my tracking number and its set for fedex 2day
Just curious. Did you receive an email stating a tracking # was assigned? I'm wondering how many times a day I should be checking the order status site.
Yes! This was always the plan it just was never explained correct. You have until 9/30 to either trade in your phone OR register it on line for the trade in. Once your phone is registered online (by 9/30) you have until Dec 1 to send it in or bring to the store
Yes, this is awesome news! So far, I am still showing 10/3 with no credit card charge, but hoping that will change in the next day or two.
6+ 64GB SG, ordered about 45-50 minutes after ordering began.
I'm also a 10/7 to 10/3 order status. Hoping that I see a charge on there soon. I'm in So Cal and literally called every VZW from Corona to Encinitas and they're all out of stock!
I'm also a little upset because nobody at VZW either in stores or at customer service can give you the same answer. I SPECIFICALLY asked if I could still trade in my daughters 4S even though it's been changed with pink glass. THREE reps said YES!!! No they're telling me no. What a joke! Now I'm out $200 trade in!

I just got my tracking number..will be here Thursday. I don't think you guys are going to have to wait much longer.

Is anyone seeing any movement on the 6+ space gray 128 model? When I ordered it at 3:15 in the morning on pre-order day it said delivery on 9/19. Email following morning said delivery by 10/3. Now showing shipping 10/10. The folks who have seen their dates moved up or receiving tracking numbers...did any of you order that model?
I was 10/14 then 10/10. Would LOVE to get surprised tonight or tomorrow morning with a tracking number.

Just got a FedEx tracking number.
I ordered on 9/12 around 11 am EDT. Ordered over the phone, having it shipped to the VZ store. Salesperson told me the arrival date was 9/19 when I placed the order, but the email confirmation came 8 hours later and said 10/7, recent changing to 10/3. Regular 6, 64 GB, space grey.

For a 6 or a 6 plus? I was 10/14 also from my email confirmation then last week it updated to 10/10 like you, but I have seen absolutely nothing since then, no CC charge or anything. When did your CC get charged?
