Called verizon about this idiotic madness. I purchased my 64gb iphone 6 plus on 9/12 on the preorder date. All she had to tell me why I'm not getting my phone early is because all these other people paid extra for faster shipping. Yeah no. ****ed up verizon wireless. I'm tired of waiting.

no hes pissed that hes 10/3 and people that are 10/10 and later are getting shipping information

I don't really see much different from what I said and what you just said, except shipped vs shipping information. So he's pissed that his order that is supposed to be shipped on 10/3 doesn't have shipping information as of 9/25? That still doesn't make much sense.

Where was that even an option?

Maybe this is just splitting hairs but why would a lower GB model be harder to ship out than higher GB models? You would think that it would be the other way around if it was due to some manufacturing shortage lower GB is easier to ship than the bigger models. Whatever just give me my damn phone apple and verizon you tools:mad:

I don't know why that is, would be curious as well. My guess is we should also see a mass movement of the 16GB soon.

I would imagine it should move shortly. My guess, though.

It's all about how many of each model they received. Apple's marketing research has never gotten this right.

Hey Everyone,

I have been following this thread for the last couple of weeks, but havent posted anything yet. Im not sure if this thread has helped ease my anxiety or made it worse. :)

I have a 6+, Gold, 16GB with a 10/14 ->10/10 ship date and a 6 + 64 GB Gold with a 10/24 -> 10/20 ship date. Just waiting around for some movement.

I think a lot of people are upset although it is well before their date that VZW isnt filling pre-orders but allowing any Joe Blow off the street to be in the right place at the right time instead of the people that have already agreed to spend hundreds of dollars. Adding to the frustration are the people we hear from that have been offered to move up in line by VZW supervisors and we all know that means it moves us back that one spot every time that happens. I dont think it has as much to do with "I EXPECT MY PHONE AT LEAST A WEEK EARLY", but when nothing else makes sense and some people do, its a reasonable expectation to have.

For the people that had their phone billed to their account- I spoke to VZW yesterday and they said there was nothing wrong with doing it that way and it doesnt change anything as far as shipping is concerned, all will be fine.

For now, Ill just keep clicking refresh :(

It's not. All orders get free overnight shipping. Can't really get faster than that.

Exactly.

----------

BestBuy all over northern NJ seems to have lots of the regular 6 models in stock.

Yeah, I'm in South Jersey, Cherry Hill area and I've been around to 5-6 stores in the last week that have 6s in stock. Granted they are 16GB. I just wanted to test the difference between sizes. Most of the stores I talked to said they only received 16GB versions of each. Had a 16GB Plus in my hand but decided to wait for my 64GB Plus

mine just shipped

16gb sapce grey

ordered 9/12 around 3pm
original date was 10/7, moved to 10/3, and now scheduled for delivery tomorrow

Hey Everybody, I am noticing some background stuff going on the iconic search lookup. Its giving me the failure to respond. Last Movement i had yesterday updated and left me with a blank tracking number. So hopefully Its going to give me my tracking number!?!?!?!

Shipping

just to clarify, I know that Verizon's website is quoting "free overnight shipping," but my incoming 6+ that I am due to receive tomorrow is coming "2-day air," which in fact, is different from "overnight." Not sure why Verizon is not following through on that promotion, but it doesn't look like others are receiving this shipping speed either.

Mine is showing as shipped now, but the tracking information isn't active in the system yet. Hoping that I get it tomorrow so that I can get it set up over the weekend.

Edit: Interesting...it is showing a delivery date of Monday, even though it is currently about an hour away from my house. Hopefully, I still get it tomorrow, but I am not holding my breath.

Edit, Edit: Post 6666. I guess I am a super-beast. ;)

Received a shipping confirmation email and tracking last night for my 6+ 64gb SG. Expected to arrive Friday. Ordered 3:15-3:20 AM 9/19, 141***, D772001. Original est ship date was 10/7, moved to 10/3.

Based on the fact that many 10/3 people and at least some 10/10 people are now expected to get their phones on Friday, I'd say there's reason for hope for those of you further down the line, and a jump of one to possibly two weeks could happen. That being said, I still wouldn't be overly optimistic, since Verizon doesn't know when they will get shipments from Apple. Also it goes without saying that people with a 6 on preorder are more likely to see a bigger jump in ship date than people waiting for the Plus.
Hm... funny I ordered on 9/18 but no shipping info.

16GB regular 6, Space Grey - originally quoted 9/19, then 10/07 "ship", then 10/3 "ship", then shipped yesterday for delivery tomorrow.

Ordered in store on 9/12, 8AM

Weird.

Just got a tracking number. Today is the 25th. Two day shipping will be here on the 29th isn't 4 days?

I'm not sure why everyone seems to be upset at Verizon. AT&T and T-mobile threads are having the exact same issues. It seems as though they are all overwhelmed by both the orders and the constant phone calls asking what the status of their order is (which probably isn't helping). T-mobile people are even emailing execs and getting credits added to their accounts.

I called VZW and complained that I did not get the free overnight shipping as described on their website. They said that there was nothing that they could do to expedite the shipping now, but they did give me a $30 credit to my account for the inconvenience.

Better than nothing I suppose.

6+ 64GB SG has shipped!!

Like others I have been reading thread and only posted once, but long story short my device shipped today with scheduled arrival 9/29. I placed my pre-order on 9/12 around 4am I think, when the errors on the VZW site finally cleared up. Also, like others my date was 10/7, moved to 10/3 and now has shipping info. Late last night my order status moved to order number with blank tracking info and the My Verizon portal indicated I have a device waiting for activation.
Now to find a case to protect that pretty new device!

There are numerous reasons you have over 6000 posts to pick a few.
