VZW Order Status Thread

No. Two of the three were shipped (for coworkers), mine was randomly cancelled. Only answer from Verizon is that they are swamped with fraud emails and are looking into it.

Mine was ordered through a business account and when I check the status it simply says "PRE".
As far as I know we can't use the Iconic search since we ordered through business. If I'm wrong someone please correct me.
Call or chat customer support, ask if they can look up your confirmation number based on your order number. Most people have reported this method works.
A report over on the Verizon forums indicates Verizon ran out of some phones even though some of us were charged for them over the weekend.

I hope they've figured out the 'Charge before we actually pack for shipping thing'. If it doesnt have a UPS or Fedex tracking #, they shouldnt be charging cards.

I got the same response, my order is pending. Someone over on the Verizon community says cards were charged before they realized they ran out of phones.
No update still on my order. Looks like 10/31 orders aren't moving up at all at this time.

iconic gives you the expected ship date, which the regular order status screen doesn't... this is where people are seeing their dates bumped up, but mine isn't yet

Same here. It was ordered by the company I work for. I can't use Iconic search either.
So, I may be able to head to an Apple Store sometime today. If I get there and they have one available, they will for sure be able to handle Verizon EDGE and let me EDGE up there if I cancel my order (after I know they have one of course)?

If you go a few pages back I guess Verizon has been dealing with a lot of fraud alerts so alot of peoples orders are unfortunately getting cancelled. :/
I'm sure since this appears to be happening to quite a bit of people now that Verizon will allow them to jump the line since its becoming an issue.
Iconic (https://preorder.verizonwireless.com/iconic/iconic/screens/IconicSearchInit.do) lists 'Your order has been sent for processing'
Traditional (http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/orderstatus/OrderStatusServlet) - lists an Order No. and a blank tracking number, blank expected ship date, blank courier.
What status comes after "We received your order and it is in process." on the iconic search? That phrase really doesn't make sense.

So "sent for processing" comes after "is in process"? The wording of those seems backwards.
I've got one email that said it was cancelled, one email from yesterday saying thank you for your order it will ship 11/7, and the online status of the original order says "completed". So I have no clue. I don't technically handle managing the phones where I work so I'm just sitting back and letting people do their jobs for now. Weird deal considering the other phones were delivered yesterday. They are supposedly checking into it. I'll update when I hear something new.
It is weird mine says sent for processing too. I just called verizon today and she told me that it is pending shipment. Not sure exactly what that means but I have no tracking number yet so...
