VZW Order Status Thread

I got mine as soon as it was shipped. I did the edge order too. Quick question do you know if I buy square trade and I want to edge up will they let me (if I need to get it replaced or something), they said "original" but I'm not sure how lenient they are with that word.

I've been watching this thread religiously since my card was charged in full last Saturday (9/27). I ordered my Silver 6+ 128GB @ 10am on 9/12 at a Verizon store (after repeated errors trying to pre-order on the Verizon site earlier that morning).
Order stood "in process" with a ship date of 10/17 for a couple weeks and then was bumped up to 10/14. Card was charged 9/27 and the order status still had that variation of "in process" on the Verizon site but had no tracking number all week.
Just received shipping notification with a USPS tracking number. (No info when I check the tracking status yet, so I don't know the arrival date quite yet, but I'm hoping no later than the end of the week.)

I called and specifically asked verizon about getting Apple care plus, and using it to get a replacement phone, would verizon force me to pay my full remainder of the phone immediately, and they said no, if it's an authorized replacement phone from any insurance option that you can continue your edge payment plan AND they will accept it to edge up at any point you need or want to.
I'm in the same boat as you; ordered through business division on the 18th and have an estimated ship date of 31 Oct.
Looks like deliveries are coming in sooner than expected, we're just going to have to be patient...
Thanks! I really needed to know that I was about to cancel my square trade if I couldn't do edge that way.
I didn't specifically ask about the insurance option you're talking about, but te gist was that as long as it's a certified replacement phone they have no problem accepting it as an edge trade in.
i got tired of waiting for verizon. Check apple.com for any local apple stores with any color 6+ 128GB, and found one. i canceled my online order with VZW and went to the store and picked up the phone.

I got an email at 1:30PM (Pacific Time) with a tracking number. My phone is coming from West Chester, PA.
Oddly, I just got another email (6:20PM) with tracking for the 2nd phone. It appears they are shipping them separate, but from the same facility.

Oh, the track by reference never worked for me. Looking at fedex's screens, I see why, they added 01 and 02 to the end to differentiate the 2 shipments.

Given the Verizon website is now saying 11/14 for orders now, I wouldn't say we're at the very back of the line, but I know what you mean.
While I'd like it tomorrow, I'm not going to lose sleep tonight that it won't happen. I do think the date will get bumped up by maybe a few days, and I'm fine by that. I do enjoy reading the stories and learning the insight from others around here, hence why I check-in here daily.

Perfect! I've adjusted my (massive) search by reference list for fedex... Too bad UPS you have to put the reference in one at a time. Though I've not seen many non-Apple(proper) orders shipped via UPS.

It seems as though the speed at which this will ship is inversely proportional to the anxiousness that I feel because it has not shipped. lol
I'm end of October as well. I just like to watch the progression. There were 4 million sold in the first 24 hours, so I'm looking forward to seeing some pluses, especially 64+ from order dates after the 12th to start receiving ship notices, which may be a week or two away yet. The congestion of orders should thin the further away we get from the 12th. Then I know we'll start knocking them out quicker and quicker, and I can really start looking forward to mine. This just makes the waiting a little easier. Don't have one? Might as well talk about them
