It seems as though the speed at which this will ship is inversely proportional to the anxiousness that I feel because it has not shipped. lol

Also, if you only have 1 phone on order, you can probably drop the 01 and 02 at the end.

I've been trying to do this but they can't handle stupid edge online through the apple store.

The upside is that you get to read all the bug reports and common issues reported. You'll know what to avoid and even get a chance to cancel/change your order. I changed my initial pre-order from a 6+ to a 6 and I'm thrilled with my decision. I'm just not ready for a Phablet yet and my 6 is way bigger/better than my 5s.

No, you have to go to a Verizon store for Edge. And that's a shame because the supply comes to Apple Stores way before carrier stores. My local Verizon store said it would be November before they got anything but pre-orders delivered. :(
 
Guys, I don't want to even imagine how frustrated many of you are, especially the ones who pre-ordered or ordered on launch day. It's really a test of patience. I only ordered my 64 SG 6 on Tuesday 9/23 and my ship by date is reportedly 10/17. I really really hope it comes before then, but I'm not crossing my fingers. It's really a bummer though, considering my friend picked up the same model willy nilly today from Target.

Keep the faith everybody, our time will come!
 
I'm typing this from my new iphone 6. Ordered 3 6's at a Verizon store at 4 pm on the 12th. Upgrades on all 3.

Original date was 10/7, moved to 10/3. My Verizon first updated from preorder to order on 9/27. Got a tracking # on 9/28, and FedEx showed a pickup early morning 9/29.

Received the phones on 9/30, so they arrived a week earlier than the original date.

Each of these was a replacement for an iPhone 4, took the 4's to the store for the trade-in promo and got the full $200 value for each.

I had read about bad experiences people had with the mail-in trades, so opted for the in store trade. It worked out very well for me.

Love the phone, by the way.

I went in store to trade my 4S in but they didn't have the 6 in stock at the time so the rep just appraised my 4S and said I'd get the $200 for it after Verizon mails me the envelope and I send the envelope back with my 4S in it. The envelope hasn't arrived yet though and I'm concerned that I won't get the trade in deal! Does anyone have any idea how this works? I ordered the 6 at the same time that the rep appraised my 4S... That was on 9/23.

Did you sign that trade-in form online? I, too, want to just bring it in the store and appraise it. I filled out the form online, still waiting for everything to come in. My new 6 is supposed to arrive tomorrow. Do you think I can just bring my old iPhone 5 in a store after I get my 6? Or will they make me mail it to them since I've already filled out the online trade-in form?
 
Got 2 6 pluses at the Apple store In my area right now.....128gb silver or gold. Sooooo tempted to cancel my order and pick one of them up but, I want the space gray model badly haha! Decisions, decisions........

Thanks for setting this up, very cool. I'm curious if folks who've listed their phones are still updating their status on the doc? I was curious to see that 4 out of 7 iP6/SG/64g phones ordered after mine seem to be prepping for shipping... my status is unchanged from original 10/17 ship date. -hmm..

Spoke with VW customer service last night and (of course) the rep reported, "no one's ship dates are being bumped up.." -I didn't feel like arguing..
Maybe today or tomorrow there'll be movement.. :)

Business Order Status changed from "PRE" to "COMPLETE"

Just an update on my order placed through my business. This may be interest to those of you who also placed your order through your employer. My order number began with MB and then the numbers. Order for 6+ 64 SG placed late morning EDT on 12 September and the email confirmation stated a 21 October delivery date. Status was "PRE" until 30 September then changed to "COMPLETED". This morning changed to "Your order has been shipped" and provides tracking number. Link sends me right to Fedex.com and my iPhone is scheduled for delivery tomorrow, 3 October. So, from my experience it's a four day gap between the time the status changes from "PRE" to when the phone is in your hands.
 
for those of you who received phones - what was the timeline between CC Charged -> 'Order Sent for Processing' -> Tracking Number listed?

I wonder this myself. My card was charged on 9/29 and my order status continues to say "Order Sent for Processing" with no tracking information. It was my understanding that I would be provided a tracking number within 24 hours of my card being charged... obviously not the case more than 48 hours later.

I called Verizon Wireless this morning and she informed me that "Order Sent for Processing" means that it is sitting in a fulfillment center where they verify account eligibility/status (whether or not the account is current), add activation documents and package. Order Sent for Processing means it has not been put on a truck for delivery yet. This is a daily ongoing process and she said it shouldn't be long now.

I'm getting kind of impatient. I'm tired of stalking Verizon, I want to shake things up and stalk FedEx now.. LOL

I'm in the same boat as you, charged on 9/27 still waiting for tracking. Heres to hoping we get tracking today and phones tomorrow!! :cool:
 
To those living in Michigan I see the target in sterling heights has a6 plus for Verizon in Gray available. Not sure what size. I can't get it since I'm using edge though.
 
I preordered the 6+ , 64GB SG on 9/12 with a shipping date of 10/28 , got bumped to 10/24 , my CC was charged on 9/29 , still no tracking #, seems like I' m on the same boat as many of you.
 
I ordered on the 12th and my expected shipping still says 10/17. The store I ordered from said it would ship to them so I wouldn't get the shipping information.

Been 3 weeks since ordering, what takes so long to make a 6+ 16 gig gold model? lol

I finally got my tracking number. Delivery on Monday... I'll take it! :)
 
My phone is being delivered today (I'll be at work though, so probably won't get it until tomorrow).

My timeline:

Sept 16: ordered a Gray 6 with 64GB (estimated delivery of Oct 21)
Sept 28: credit card charged
Oct 1: shipped via overnight delivery

Good luck to everyone. See you back on this thread in 2 yrs when we are all due for upgrades again :cool:
